Let me start with the good, the staff was good, I know how hard they work for the money they get. The quality of the food was bad I mean not edible. That was because of the quality of the ingredients the lowest grade. we were six people three of us got food poisoning. So bread, butter and fruits was the safest thing and that’s what we ended up eating the whole nine days we were there. The beach was the color of mud and soon as you get in you get stung by something that you can’t even see so we couldn’t swim in the ocean. The pool gave us a rash. The air conditioning would stop working. The lights would go off throughout the day. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my enemies.

The resort is very nice, but the staff members throughout the hotel are absolutely the best. Very kind courteous funny and happy staff. They make the stay that much more enjoyable. The food can be better but is not horrible. The room a bit dated but clean. The mosquitoes throughout the property are PREDATORS, something needs to be done to control this. It was an enjoyable adventure.

My wife and I love coming to the DR. The places we've stayed in, always excellent and super friendly. However, Bahía Principe Grand La Romana stands out as very far beyond exceding expectations! Just one example, if you ask for something at the buffet, you better want it, because they WILL get it for you even if they don't have it. These folks mean business when it comes to making you relax and enjoy your stay. All smiles, full professionalism. My family trip was a wonderful experience! Extremely good service, very friendly staff, helpful and good humored. Room was clean, food was good and abundant, pool had the perfect temperature and the pool bar kept the drinks flowing, for kids and adults alike. Beach was also excellent, and while the water is a tad murky, we often parked under the shady tree by the Olas restaurant and just relaxed with drinks in hand in the breeze. Also, the service at the restaurants was impecable, highly polite and gentlemanly and the food was refined and beautifully presented. We will definitely come back in the future. Recommended, 5 stars! Thank you for a great time!

El problema que tube es que nobaparecia mi reserva y al final me acomodaron en otra secion la de solo para adulto y estaba alejado del grupo con el q llegue porque ellos no podian ir al area donde me hospedaba y mis compañeros tubieron problemas con las habitaciones le dieron de solo una cama sobrevendieron las habitaciones

We loved the workers the best the staff is so much fun from Jose our waiter who specifically made each meal at the buffet so great we visited just for him. The staff at the bars made sure we had a great time and welcomed us to the DR! 1000/10 experience. The resort food is top class so many options and tastes great with theme nights each night. Def the best bang for your buck! Book with this hotel you will not regret it.
