The resort was up to par in comparison with the photos before booking. The hospitality was awful, barely any workers knew English or cared to try to understand what we were requesting. The glassware, cutlery and dishes were never clean on the first try. All the people are hustlers - before buying anything, make sure you ask at least 3 different people, you’re guaranteed $100 less than the first person you consulted with. The food was just truly terrible. Also, the resort was very large, which was great however nobody cared to communicate what our visit consisted of. For example, we had full access to the two resorts next to our resort and we had no idea. Another example is when we booked a restaurant for dinner, nobody cared to communicate that it wasn’t even ON our resort, and it was in fact at one of the other two resorts connected to ours. It was just a mess. The workers do not care to communicate information, or make things easier or understandable. Also the airport workers were real scum too, they were visibly and vocally hitting on visitors and staring at you in a subjective and inappropriate manner. Dominican is nice to visit if you’re a teenager or in your young 20s going on an all inclusive for the first time. I will be sticking to Mexico for my next all inclusive resort vacations for class, quality of food and proper respectful service. I felt very hustled in this country.

Main buffet restaurant and bowling/other games room smells like sewerage. Cleanliness is not great. Many of the staff members don’t speak English and it’s ok for them not to. Big variety of fish in buffet. Checkin staff doesn’t present all the facilities and services of the hotel. Rooms’ renovation looks to be old. Water slides are very old.

I have stayed several times before, now we went there for a wedding, a big group, and everyone complained about the quality of the food it was beyond bad at all restaurants. Employees have a bad attitude. Something is happening with the management, used to love that hotel.

It was my first time in a all inclusive resort. It is beyond convenient, everything is 5 mins walks, pool is 30 seconds from the beach, food is 30 seconds from the pool. Beach has a lot of space, palm trees for shade, bars are well placed so you have easy access to drinks. Pools are really clean and maintained. Rooms are nice, but nothing special, but you’re not there for the room anyway. Food is nice, but i personally expected more from a 5 star resort. They have plenty of choice, and all food is GOOD, dont get me wrong, but for me, nothing stands out. Restaurants are hit and miss, you have to make reservations, they tell you dress code exists, but a lot flys by. ALL of the reservation restaurants are small portions, so dont go too hungry. Specifically, the steak house is not good, also the sea food one and the Japanese one is weird. Food was great in that one but the hostess was weird and doesnt speak english and it was overall a weird experience. Spanish one was nice, good service and good food, same as italian.
