El check in muy lento. No nos orientaron bien donde estaban los restaurantes. El hotel tiene en remodelación la piscina principal y tuvimos q usar la piscina familiar del otro hotel. Los restaurantes también está en remodelación, así q usamos los restaurantes del hotel familiar. El restaurante italiano, español y oriental fueron excelentes al igual que el buffet. Mi sugerencia es que mejor reserve el Catalonia Bávaro y no el Royal de adultos.

You would call to ask for things from the front desk. Basic things like towels and rags and they wouldn’t replenish adequately. Also, you would call to ask for a ride within the resort, or room service or anything and they would forget and you’d have to call multiple to MAYBE get what you’re looking for. Also, the workers are so limited in their English. Which made daily requests and life in the resort quite difficult.

I did the romance package for my wife and I, for our honeymoon. The hotel itself is nice and the employees are just as nice but with that being said the room itself was not made out to be as romantic. No chocolate strawberries, rose pedals or anything that was promised. I had mentioned it again the day before we were leaving, and they said it would be fixed but nothing was done and it didn’t feel special at all.

PROS: The Hospitality service (Buffet and Restaurants) was impeccable, especially from waiters Julissa (Julie) and Erick who creates a really good Mai Thai. CONS: However the Hotel failed to inform us of the lack of availability of restaurants and pools due to construction. Additionally - my room had no WiFi (only me) and the mini fridge didn’t cool any drinks (more like for storage) so enjoy a complimentary warm Presidente. Called three times for WiFi assistance nobody came - whatever. Definitely Overpaid for what was provided. Would only come back for Julissa and Erick who were some of the most down to earth people. You kinda have to make the most of it. Also the food was okay - with very limited selection. You’d think for the amount of money you paid for there would be a big spread but no. Bottom line - Not worth it

The staff was way better than what most reviews had us believing before we left. Good options were ok. They make it a little more difficult to book meals than it needs to be and most places are moved due to all the construction happening on the adult side of the resort. AC was phenomenal as was the hot water. So many vendors and seaweed - both which were to be expected. It was a great time. Not much entertainment or music. Bring your own seasoning because there is no spice to anything!

The scenery was great. The property advertising was not accurate, they didn't advertise that the property was shared with family area. They advertise All Adults plus the phone service was out and shower head broken. No Adults activities.

They were undergoing some renovations that seems to have some staff displaced. This did make some service slow. However it was still very enjoyable and the property was beautiful. The views of the ocean landscape were amazing. The staff was friendly and happy to help and the food on the resort was amazing. Will definitely be back.
