Beautiful property and friendly hotel staff! Many dining options and the restaurant/buffet staff was incredibly helpful with our toddler's food allergies, including making/serving us buffet items to avoid cross contact with other foods. There were plenty of activities and things to do at the hotel, many of which we did not have the time to do during our 5 night stay. Would definitely go back and recommend the hotel to others!

This was one of the worst hotels I ever Been to. The cleaning people don’t come till late in the day that is inconvenient and they had attitude. There was only one pool at it was so hot. I paid for an ocean view but I got a horrible view and when I told them they did nothing about it. The food choices were all similar no matter what restaurant you went to also it was vary hard to get a reservation so most nights I had to stick with the buffet. In the end I would not recommend staying there.

The property is Absolutely Beautiful and Spotless. Every staff member we encountered was kind and helpful. Especially our butler, Wendy. There were only a few things I would say need improvement. Number one being the towel huts. There are only 2 for such a big property. Going to the Adults Only or Unique pool to find out that the towels were all the way on the other side of the resort, by the beach, was annoying. The Unique restaurant was very good, however the other restaurants were just ok with Mareas being the better one and El Asador being our least favorite. All in all I’d definitely recommend this resort.

I had an amazing time at the Lopesan. In my opinion, the unique experience is worth it. The food was incredible, service was great and overall everything was amazing. The resort grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The pools are so nice! The resort looks just like the photos. The food was pretty good considering this is an all inclusive resort. The various options for specialty dining was a nice perk. The food these restaurants offered was good as well, but keep in mind it is imperative you make a reservation. We had issues with the app so make sure to check with staff on their availability if you experience the same problem. We booked a unique room, which is supposed to come with a butler but out of the five days we stayed we never saw him/her, despite calling multiple times about this. However, we did get somewhat of a free room upgrade upon check-in which we loved (they gave us a unique ocean view room when we booked a garden view). The staff are very friendly and do their best to accommodate, but the language barrier might be an issue for some guests. We also ended up using the 24/7 room service more than we expected, so that was definitely a perk as well. For those that like to workout, the gym is also great! Probably the nicest gym I've ever used at a hotel/resort while on vacation. Overall, this resort is extremely nice and peaceful. This is a good option whether you're traveling with your partner or with your family. We'd highly recommend staying here and hope to come back soon!

If you are considering either hard rock or majestic, choose them. Lopesan does not live up to the online videos and the hype. The staff is hit or miss with English. Also the property does not have running hot water. At best they only have warm water running, so if you are ok with showering in the pool you are fine. The food is good mostly, but very limited vegetarian options, alcohol was also great. The unique room was absolutely not worth it. Choose the regular one, because the unique buffet is very small and only serves a very Small subset of food of the main buffet. If you run into any issues with your stay, the customer service is absolutely useless. For what it's worth, I was asked to fill a complaint on a piece of paper. Lol.

The property upon walking in is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately on the third day my husband got food poisoning. It was from a salad at the Mediterranean restaurant. Overall the place was nice but most of the staff do not speak English which is fine but can be a little frustrating at times. The food is not great at most of the restaurants. The only really good place is the goldfish bar at pool for lunch which we didn’t discover till last day. Unique is not worth it. Nothing special and special food actually worse than rest of food. Overall ok but not 5 star. We took teenagers with us and stayed in one room the 4 of us. Would have been fine but be aware door to bathroom is basically open so not real privacy. If you get a great deal for a quick getaway it’s ok but I wouldn’t pay for a 5 star resort and def stay away from raw foods. Food poisoning not fun.

Property: 5/5 The resort is spectacular, exceptionally clean, and well-kept. Entertainment: 1/5 Entertainment is severely lacking or non-existent, which was disappointing. Kids Club: 1/5 The kids club did not meet expectations and just a let down. Splash Pad/Water Park: 4/5 The splash pad and water park were fantastic for kids, providing hours of fun. Pools: 3/5 The unique pools were beautiful with plenty of seating. Main pool. Clean but busy with limited seating. Beach: 5/5 The beach was excellent, with minimal seaweed thanks to the diligent staff. There was plenty of seating, though the number of boats could be a downside. Food: 3.5/5 The buffets are decent, lots of variety. Restaurants were very good. Bars: 4/5 The bars provided good service and a pleasant experience, with generally attentive staff. Unique Perks: 3/5 The Unique program offers perks like a butler and access to exclusive pools, restaurants, bars, and beach areas. However, for most guests, these extras might not be worth the additional cost. Butler: Andres was great, he reached out daily asking where he can be of assistance. Overall: The resort excels in cleanliness, beach maintenance, and facilities like the splash pad for kids. However, it falls short in entertainment and the kids club, with logistical issues like pool chair availability and check-in times detracting from the experience. The Unique perks offer some added luxury but may not be justified for everyone.
