The Excellence Properties are usually above par. The Finest was not for us. We tried this one as we have stayed at the others but decided we like the properties without children. Adults Only for us. The room was great at first but on the second night the A/C unit started making a loud noise. The staff came to fix it but later that night it continued. We called the staff again to fix it again but the results. They came twice the second night. They did move us to a different room but only after we asked. Also no other compensation was offered. You would think that since it was not fixed the first night management would have contacted us to make it right. This is our third hotel from this property we have stayed at and have not thought to look elsewhere. The staff were great. The food great. The activities great. We are usually always happy with the Excellence Properties.

The property is nice. It's mostly for families with little kids. There is not much to do in the evening. Not a lot of entertaining. The night shows are cheesy. The food is really good. However, the cleanness is questionable. They only cleaned my room once during the 5 days stay. They did make the beds daily but nobody cleaned the bathroom and the room. There was also a strong smell of cigarettes in the bathroom, probably from previous guests.

I was at the resort for a week with my family and they did not fix draft beer for a week. Our family did not get any welcome drink or any welcome from the staff.This is 5 star hotel and they don't have draft beer for whole week. Some staff are nice but some don't. Concierge don't pick up the phone easily you have to called them multiple times. Massage were nice but not recommend hydrotherapy. They're better resort out there with better hydrotherapy. Honestly except for the size of resort, I feel like this is 4 star hotel not 5 star. I can tell why they have really good review on google because every staff ask for a good review after service. They carry QR code which is really funny. If it's really good service then you will have good review. This is my thrid time coming to Cancun with my family, I've been to Dreams and Hilton but this is worst experience so far for me. I will go back to Cancun because I really love Cancun but not this resort.

This is our second time at this hotel and whilst it was lovely, the previous time was better. Since 2018 it has definitely moved towards being oriented towards family/groups/weddings and less towards couples. It was really quite busy and there were kids and pushchairs everywhere. We paid extra to be in the adults-only part but that didn't seem worth it as there are only two adults only restaurants and two bars (in one of them we were given plastic glasses for our drinks at 8.30pm which wasn't great!). The staff are lovely and the hotel is spotlessly clean and has lots of fantastic facilities. I was a bit disappointed with check-in this time. Previously we were given a glass of prosecco when we arrived and our suitcases were in the room when we got there, we were also shown around a bit. This time, they didn't seem to know where we should be, the check-in was rushed and we didn't get a drink, and we had to wait in the room for a while before our cases arrived. I was also really disappointed that we specifically booked this for our 20th wedding anniversary and I told the guy this at check-in and he just smiled. Last time when we went for our anniversary we had a little banner on the hotel room door, our bed was decorated, etc. etc. It was still an amazing break, but they just don't seem that interested in making it special for couples and were all about the families. If you are travelling as a couple I would recommend going somewhere else.

The property is situated at the great location. It is a very large property with a long,calm beautiful beach. We can spend all day at the beach. It was awesome. Morning walk along the beach was unforgettable. We were greeted with the a glass of Champagne as soon as we arrived.All the personnel whom we came in contact with were very courteous, polite and gracious.Property is really clean , organized beautifully and well maintained. Food and drinks were also one of the best ( variety and unlimited). Pools were awesome.
