My husband and I stayed here on our way to California from Idaho (as the halfway point). It was fine. We can’t speak for the casino because we don’t gamble, but the room was mostly comfortable. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the smell of bleach that slapped us in the face when we opened the door. It was so strong, I had a migraine all night. I get that they want to clean the room, but does it have to be that strong? Maybe open the window to air it out?

We stay here 2-3 times a year on travels from San Diego to Idaho. Rooms & baths ALWAYS clean, spacious and comfy, restaurant choices great in casino, and registration/desk staff always pleasant and helpful. Price for quality cant be beat!

Hidden Gem
Hidden gem next to the Sparks Marina. Relatively inexpensive, well kept, quiet, very safe. I will actively seek out rooms here when visiting the area again.

Good property, frustrating bed issue
Overall, the property is in very good condition. We are so appreciative to see a decent property at a very impressive price. The bed is comfortable, but one huge drawback for us is that the bed is so high, it was very difficult to get into the bed. I will bring my collapsible footstool next trip. If its the same in an accessible room, I don't know how a person could manage it.

Had a good time staying here. Restraunt and casino were close by and reasonable. Room was large and bed comfortable. View sucked, but we didn't spend much time on room so didn't bother us much. Nice walk to legands mall and food. Def. Will come back. 🙂

Surprised + delighted!
Such a good stay! We appreciated the cleanliness and renovated room - everything felt new and fresh! The room was spacious; No weird smells in room or in hallways. Elevators were fast and end stairways were very useful. The housekeeping staff does a great job and we gave a compliment to the hotel on this - shout out Gabriella. Finally, it was so nice that the rooms are separate from the casino so 1) its less of a communte from parking to your room 2) no cigarette smoke smell leaking into the hotel wing. Lots of parking and easy access! Also, Black Bear Cafe and In-N-Out were close by! Final note - ladies, would not recommend staying at this place alone. There were often sketchy men at night in parking lot, so make sure to be safe & be aware. But all said, me and my family will be staying here again! Well done WV!

Terrible Customer Service.
The front desk was INCREDIBLY rude to me. I’m a combat veteran and have a service dog that is professionally-trained, well-disciplined, smaller in size, and does not shed. The front desk literally harassed me all night long purposefully calling me down to the desk on multiple occasions to sign their “pet policy” (this is not a pet, this is a working animal), claiming they had lost the paperwork more than once. I was cordial and the woman was just verbally aggressive toward me, to the point I had to excuse myself because she was so offensive.
