Very nice and comfortable lobby. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception, when we asked then to show us the directions to certain places we had to go, they were very helpful and were willing to show us from the map. We were given a room with a harbour view which was absolutely stunning. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room so I didn't mind the room was small, in fact I think it was a decent size unless you plan to spend more time in your room. The only one thing I would pick on is the shower room. The shower shelter doesn't do anything at all, the floor was all wet after the shower. We had to dry the floor with the towel afterwards otherwise it would be a bit uncomfortable to enter the shower room/ toilet again afterwards. We visited the Sky Bar on the 8th floor on our last night, we sat next to the window with a stunning view that we could see the harbour and the concert hall. Staff at the bar are very friendly. The location of this hotel is great too, we had a few activities which required us to meet up at the bus stop 5 (Harpa) which is just cross the road from the hotel, very convenient. Also, great distance from the city centre so not a problem at all walking between the hotel and the city centre. Our overall experience staying at this hotel was excellent.

This hotel was great! It wasn’t above and beyond but it was not bad by any means. Perfect to come back and sleep. Parking was easy as it’s right there but you do have to pay, they only have about 4 parking spots for hotel guests. Rooms were clean for the most part. The shower was a bit strange but it made sense to fit in the bathroom. Got the job done! Spa was the best part and a nice perk. Beds were comfy! The room got very very hot at night we tried to switch the temp but it may have been Fahrenheit to Celsius issue not a. Fault of the hotel.

This was a little longer walk to the center of city than some of their other property’s. I would likely stay at on of their other locations next time. One has Jörgensen restaurant and the food was amazing.

Top notch customer service
I will start with the down side because there is only one and that is the room is a little small. Now onto the positives. The view first off. Attached photo is from our room on the second floor. The Sky Bar is the best view in town. The bartender was fantastic and made incredibly complex and delicious cocktails. The Staff were the Best. I cannot say enough about how great the customer service was. Our flight came in from Hamilton Ontario and like most North American flights we got into Reykjavik early am. For 40 euros we were able to check in early at 7:30 and got breakfast in the Sky Bar to boot. It was wonderful. Location is great too. This hotel is in the center of all the action. Bars, restaurants, shopping, at tour starting points.

Excellent location within easy walk ( a couple of blocks to city center ) lots of grea.t restaurants and sights to see. Room was a bit small but very clean and comfortable, Nice view. Front desk staff was very helpful, nice and clean spa. We had a car but didnt use it while at the hotel. Only negative was parking, very few spaces that were included with hotel stay. Easy paid parking very close. Would recommend for your stay in Reykjavik

Spent two nights at this location and it was fantastic. Centrally located enough, most areas are a short walk. We opted for a sea view room and it did not disappoint! All the staff were kind, courteous and helpful. Couldn’t recommend enough!
