Property and staff were great!! Only 1 problem, please, please, please place a sign outside. We walked around the area for 45 minutes trying to find this place and it's very difficult. Then after entering through the first big wooden door you have to walk to a second building and turn left and there is not one single sign!! Also we asked a taxi driver and 2 Policemen near by and one could help us!! Please place a big sign outside and then add arrows once entering the first building!!!!!!!!!

Good but a little inconvenient...
While our room was cute, we had to go around the block to a different building. There is a flight of stairs you have to climb with your luggage to get to elevator, which is extremely small!! They took our luggage to the room because they watched them since we were there before check in, which was nice. However, when we had to checkout, it was raining and a pain to have to haul them outside to the original building in the rain to checkout. Then you have to go across the street down a ways to catch a taxi so we stood in the rain but taxi was cheap to train station. Also had to go back to original building for front desk, bar, breakfast. Overall good, just would have been nice to know these things ahead of time, especially if you have mobility issues.

Nice clean room. Relatively basic facilities, with no proper mugs for hot drinks, only espresso cups. Water, tea, sugar etc. not replenished daily. The frosted glass to the bathroom was not ideal for privacy, we had to turn the light off to go to the bathroom, otherwise you can see through the door. Comfy bed but the pillows are quite firm. Aircon worked well.

Unbeknownst to us our room was located in an 'annex' building approximately a quarter block from the main hotel. The breakfast room, bar and staff were located in the main hotel so to access services one had to exit (by way of stairs, two separate codes and an elevator) and walk the block on a very busy street. Not what I would call a pleasant/ convenient experience especially at this price point. The staff did their best to accommodate this set up. However, my biggest disappointment was the privacy and lighting situation in the room. The bathroom door is lightly frosted glass so anyone sitting on the commode can be clearly seen by anyone in the main room. Awkward if traveling with a friend but even a couple might find this unnerving. To make matters worse the light in the bathroom doesn't have a switch so to turn it off you have to take the key card out of the docking station. If you do that the docking station generates a very bright light (presumably so you can find it in the dark?) filling the room. So you either deal with a lit up bathroom with the see through door, or a dark bathroom but a bright light at the bedside while you are trying to sleep. We attempted to cover the docking station, and even asked the staff if something could be done but to no avail. I should have brought/bought an eye mask but honestly we had to compensate for a far away annex, lack of privacy in the bathroom and lighting concerns to even think of recommending this hotel.

Place was small but great! Staff were friendly, especially Linn. He was super kind and helpful. He carried our bags next door to our room and made sure we were comfortable. The only issue we had was that our shuttle did not show up to the airport. We had to take a taxi.

The property in part, is in t process of renovation So far, this old convent building is being transformed into a modern, beautifully stylish, and i accessible for disabled, building. However, there are some things still needing attention: Shower Pressure in some rooms is too low, Air conditioning breaking, leaving the room too warm. The staff open bedroom windows, but during late evenings, this allows mosquitoes to enter. We were bitten in a few places as we had kicked off the sheet during the night. Water leaked onto bathroom floor, so shower unit seal needs re sealed where the glass is and lastly, the furniture. It would be nice to reach the hanging rack inside the wardrobe. if short in height, you will truly struggle to hang garments up. And no drawer or mirror in the main bedroom desk unit. Simple things, but would make life easier if replaced & repaired. Apart from that, the bed is lovely and comfy, fridge & a safe. Complimentary bottled waters and an espresso pod machine in your room. Bathroom Spa slippers, shampoo, body wash, tissues and hairdryer. Breakfast is lovely and plentiful: Cornetto's filled with nutella or crema, salami hams and cheeses, scrambled or boiled eggs, smoked salmon & much more. Lovely coffees, teas, juices and water. The building is fabulous: Set in a double inner courtyard shared with other permanent residents.The Hotel is set furthest back in the two courtyards. Less than 10 minutes slow walk to either The Pantheon or the Victor Emmanuel
