Very good

We were very happy with our stay. Claudia was very attentive to our needs. She served us our breakfast every morning. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. It was convenient to metro, attractions and walkable. We will definitely satay here again.
The hosts could not be any sweeter! They even let us leave our luggage after checkout so we could explore our last day in Rome. The location was very good. Very close to the colosseum. The place was very clean and comfortable. If you are sensitive to noise that could be the only issue as the walls are very thin.
These is such a great location for exploring the highlights of Rome and access to the Metro near by. The host was so lovely making us a great breakfast in the morning and showing us places to go off a map. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Would stay here again

The location is close to Colosseum and Roman Forum. You can walk to most of the attractions. There are a few restaurants on the street of the B& B. We tried Rosso and a Chinese restaurants. Both are good.
Property is just a basic one that is situated very good to be able to walk to all main attractions

Location great Claudia was really helpful and kind .Room itself needed updating old furniture but ensuite lovely views from room window not great but good value for money easy access to all historical places.could do with having kettle in room but having use of kitchen was handy and supermarket cross the road ..
Good value accommodation - friendly, helpful staff
B & B Circus Maximus is situated on an open boulevard with plenty of good local restaurants/cafes and shops and is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the Colosseum. This setting (which has a nearby metro station) provides a break from the hustle and bustle of the narrow city streets in the historic centre and yet is ideally placed for exploring that area on foot.
The cheaper rooms with shared bathroom are located in what is practically a small apartment with a kitchen where you can prepare and eat the small diy breakfast provided (which includes good coffee). This puts you in close proximity with the guests in the other bedroom....and the very squeaky bed and toilet cistern mean that you may be aware of each others activity.
The accommodation was warm despite some inclement weather and the bedroom and shared bathroom were clean with modern fittings. Not exactly a B & B in the UK sense but an enjoyable good-value stay with the added bonus of kitchen facilities and friendly, helpful staff.
As a place to stay for a few days this b&b is absolutely fine.
Although I had been contacted for my flight details and arrival time there wasn't any sign of anyone or even that we were in the right place when we arrived. We had to call the local number to get through and were eventually able to check in.
The staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions.
The room we stayed in was in an apartment so we shared a kitchen/dining area with another room. The roon was clean and a decent size. However this isn't really a b&b , it's more of a self catering apartment. We were provided with some tea bags and coffee pods, although the kettle didn't plug in anywhere near the table. And some biscuits. No real breakfast provided and no milk.
Location was perfect for us - 5 mins from a metro stop, 10 mins from the colloseum, small supermarket over the road, cafe just downstairs and some lovely restaurants a few minutes down the road.
If you're looking for a simple place to stay to explore Rome on a budget this place is great.

Convenient B&B for business or tourism
This is a conveniently located, effectively self catering B&B; clean and reasonably well equipped. Fine for a short business or longer tourist stay as long as you don't expect too much.
Safe good area, quiet, comfortable and pleasant room, staff welcoming, clean and well located, convenient

Only good thing is the location
Only good thing about this hotel is its location. Super close to Colosseum and the heart of Rome. Wifi did not even work. Cold in the room and this could not be fixed even with the AC. The room was nothing like in pictures, decorated with IKEA furniture... I was looking for the room that had more of a Italian vibe in it but the room we were given was just nothing I had expected. Also the fact that in hotels.com information page of this hotel it says that EVERY ROOM has a private bathroom. This is not the case! Be super careful when you receive your confirmation email so you will not get fooled as I did. When booking through hotels.com I picked the room that had the italian type of interior and it only said 'double bed' nothing else. Once we arrived I was told that I had booked a room with external bathroom. So once I checked the email there is was with the tiniest font!! So upsetting regarding the fact that it says on the hotel info that every room has a private bathroom.
The room was lovely and cleaned everyday to a very high standard. The apartment block is in an excellent location.
The man who checked us in was very helpful however, there was a late check in fee of €20 even though we arrived there just before 10pm and we also had to pay a tourist tax, making our arrival pretty expensive.
B&B was a great budget hotel! Rooms are simple but not small and the neighborhood was perfect. Its easy to want to spend that extra $$ to get a hotel 'in the heart' of Rome but i wouldn't recommend that. This hotel was in the quiet neighborhood of Aventino, only a 7-10 minute walk to the Colloseum and 15 to the Trestevere. The city is super walkable and this place is located away from the hustle and bustle, and even more so - the tourist traps - of the Ancient part of Rome. We also enjoyed the free espresso machine in the AM. I would recommend this place to budget travelers but also to people who want some quiet at night!
