Nice property with helpful staff available 24hrs per day. Good facilities, close enough to walk to major sights (i.e 19 minuets walk to the Vatican). Pool, water vending machine in lobby, close to shops and restaurants and an AMAZING free breakfast!

The hotel is well run and accommodations are modern. The staff is friendly, professional and helpful. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Rome. Also very accessible to buses, Trenitalia and Metro.

I was pleased to have a special asked request ( a local wine in a room), but without a corkscrew I was forced to search it . Asking for it after at 23 pm, administrator ( a man black) wasn't kind as I was looking for!

We booked this for a pool. The pool was similar to a backyard pool. Small and dirty. The rooms were HOT. we complained to the desk but they said it was fine. No one even came to see if the temp was wrong or not working

Nice hotel out of the city
Although this hotel was quite dated, it was clean and perfect for our trip. The small pool was lovely and had some sun loungers which was great for the heat in July. The location was ideal for being out of the city but close to the train station (2 minute walk), so easy to get to. There are some lovely local restaurants nearby and a lovely gourmet supermarket. The hotel had a lovely rooftop terrace with comfortable seats, where you could relax in the evening. This was great, as you could bring your own drinks and it was very peaceful. The breakfast had limited hot food but was nice and you could sit outside which was nicely decorated. I would recommend staying in this hotel and would stay again.

Opening time for dinning was from 7pm and not many choice of food in the dinning menu. The Spaghetti Carbonora was salty and very peppery. There was only one waiting staff serving the whole dinners.No callback on our meals and waited awhile and decided not to have the meal and went to my room hungry.

This hotel needs some improvements as far as the hotel itself goes. But the staff makes you want to stay here over and over. Umberto is really helpful and honest. The restaurant staff is really sweet. We enjoyed our stay because of them! We felt safe leaving our stuff in the hotel because the cleaning crew would come and put everything in its place. Thank you Hotel Tiberio for making our stay wonderful!

Based on other reviews, we booked a "tower" room. From the photos it looked like there was a separate tower building but not so. It turns out that a tower room means you have a terrace. It was okay but there is only a lattice partition between rooms which means you can see your neighbors and they can see. you. This hotel is in a predominately residential area with limited dining and shopping. The one advantage is that we could walk to the Metro and the Vatican. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of options including cereal, yoghurt, breads, eggs, bacon, etc. The dinner dining however we were not impressed with. The dining room has 11 tables of which 3 were occupied and when we arrived just after 7:00 pm we asked if we could be seated. We were told "you need a reservation". So we went to reception to make a reservation for 7:05 and told that the dining room was booked and that the earliest reservation we could get was 7:30. You're kidding, right? Nope! Since we were also having trouble trying to work the TV remote, we went back to our room to wait for someone to come and help us. The person who showed up, didn't have a clue how to get us to the English channel we wanted so we said forget it and went down to dinner. The room is adequate but the hair dryer is old and the bathroom sink had hairline fractures which indicated its age. For the amount of money spent, I would suggest a hotel closer to the interior of Rome as taxis to and from venues were expensive.

Very welcoming and polite staff. Pool very tiny but served its purpose in the heat. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. Front desk quickly sorted out a blocked toilet. Room cleaned every day.

This property had a great quaint pool that was fantastic. It was not in a great area, as there were not shops or restaurants in the area and the restaurant on site required reservations in advance and didnt open for dinner until 7pm at night and then only if you had a reservation in advance. We never were able to eat there for dinner. The air conditioning, if you could call it that, seemed non-existent and we were beyond hot every single night in our room. The pillows were the worst we have ever had. Hard as a board and very flat. We even requested new ones and they were also terrible. I would not stay here again.

This hotel proved to be a great stay for my family. Room was very spacious and had good AC. Breakfast was fantastic with all kinds of choices and parking for fort car was ample. We got our laundry done a the clothes came back like new. Highly recommend.

The quiet gem in a long list of Rome’s hotel
Our stay at Grand Hotel Tiberio in Rome was superb. The hotel is clean, comfortable with a wonderful staff. For me, I wanted to stay away from the crowds and chaos that plagues all major cities especially in the summer. The hotel is located in the Balduina district of Rome a peaceful neighborhood. Please do not be turned off by the location. It is away from many of the main tourist attractions, however, we took public transportation (bus 990) to the Pantheon, which was about a 20 mins bus ride. Using public transportation is a great way to explore the city and it’s cheap. I usually never write reviews but before going to the hotel there were mixed comments that made me a bit unsettled. Most are completely inaccurate like the hotel staff is rude or the rooms are not clean. Completely untrue. The lobby is so inviting as well as the restaurant and there is a rooftop gem where you can relax after sightseeing and overlook the city. We went to the grocery store one block away to buy paninis and had a picnic. My experience at the hotel was beyond my expectations.
