The staff was super friendly and made sure they were able to accommodate guests. The were busy at the front desk when we checked-in and when we checked-out. They made accommodations to ensure that our room was thoroughly cleaned because of my respiratory conditions. During our five day stay I did not have a flare up being in the room at all. I really appreciated that, thank you Mama Shelter Roma! Be advised that if you want to have dinner on the rooftop of the hotel, you have to make reservations or you won’t be able to enjoy the atmosphere. I wish this would’ve been told to us at our check-in. But this is why the reviews are available, so you have an idea of what to anticipate. Otherwise this was a great stay during our five day visit to Rome. Definitely recommend Mama Shelter Roma! Grazie mille Mama Shelter Roma!!

The property was lovely And for the most part staff was friendly and likable, but we chose it for the amenities which included the spa and pool. During our four day stay, we were only able to secure one single one hour slot for swimming at the pool. And there were so many children there In the tiny space that it was thoroughly unenjoyable.

The amenities in which I chose to book the hotel. Were greatly exaggerated Was there pull a spa and gym? Yes, were we allowed to use it? No, because apparently you have to specifically book time slot pre arranged and then be escort by staff to even be allowed to not only use it, but even get to it, I couldn't even tell you what the pool looked like.

It was a great stay overall! I love how everyone at the hotel was so incredibly friendly and helpful! Only downside was the metro was not working near by so we had to Uber everywhere since the hotel is bit far from things but other than that I would definitely come back when in Rome

Extremely Happy with this hotel, not sure how old is the Hotel but pretty much everything look brand New. we do have some issues with the toilet but that's pretty much everywhere in Italy & I not even get upset since the Customer service and room were amazing. I highly recommend this Hotel if you are coming to Rome close to everything.

Located in an apparently unsafe area of the city this old renovated property designed for adults only. If you arrive with kids be aware they are not shy to offer free po*n. And no way to avoid such an inconvenient offer as it is in the first screen once you turn on the TV in the movies page. Cleaning is good but they missed cleaning one night. As an Expedia VIP you get nothing. Rooms are all small (the XL is only 10sqr meters more then the small). They charge kids as adults for reservations and once there even if you are paying a 300 a night for the largest room you get no breakfast (you have to pay 22 per person). They have a restaurant, the worst pizza in Italy so far. The terrace is beautiful.They also have a Spa (beautiful I have to say) that also should be adults only. They say it is a swimming pool but it is 9 meters x 3 m long. So you have to reserve to go (hard for a hotel with 250 rooms). We wanted to leave the first night (we had a horrible experience walking back to the hotel) but they denied to return the money so we spent TONS in taxis to go anywhere. In general, a bad experience in a VIP (??) HOTEL.
