Sora Luxury Inn is not a “luxury inn” nor a traditional European or American B&B. It’s more like a shared apartment with separate guestrooms, for lack of a better phrase or description. I believe the information on the site about this being an “inn” or B&B is misleading. It appears the rooms were once apart of a large apartment unit sectioned off into 4 units, each with its own room and bathroom. The renovation was nicely done and the bed was comfortable in our room, but I was a little put off by the layout. I simply expected a traditional B&B, not a quasi-guestroom in a condo /apartment building. Further, the “breakfast” is not on site, though on some days a bowl of fruit or small pastry is left out in the hallway leading to the rooms. Instead, breakfast is offered (via voucher) across the street in one of the neighborhood restaurants. The breakfast included juice, coffee and a pastry, all of which were good, but you must travel down the block and across the street to get it, which again is non-traditional and not what I expected. Information on these two points should be made clearer to potential guest.
I was also put off by the wait to get access to the room. About a week before we were due to arrive at Sora, someone from the inn reached out to me to confirm the reservation and asked when our flight would arrive, to which I responded.
