This B&B is in a secure area, about 2km from the historic centre of Rome. There are several bus route options nearby--keep in mind that Roman public transit is not known for promptness. There is a grocery store on the next block. The place is clean and quiet (other than road noise). Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with continental options like pastries, yogurt, cheese, sliced meats, cereals, bread etc. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had one of the best showers I've experienced. The only negative was at check-in: we knew we would be charged a 50E fee for being late (after 8pm), but we did not expect to have to pay in cash. The "city tax fee" was also demanded in cash (everywhere else allowed credit). This unexpectedly wiped out our cash and was quite inconvenient.

The staff was nice and friendly. What I suggest is more lights for the rooms. They were kind of dark. They can add stronger light pulps . The breakfast should have a toaster because the bread were served cold. But in general it was good experience, walkable , clean and safe.

The property listing is misleading. It was advertised as a hotel, but in reality, it is not. Staff are only present during limited hours of the day, which makes it inconvenient if you need assistance outside of that timeframe. On top of that, the rooms vary significantly in size, yet they are all charged at the same rate, which feels unfair given the lack of consistency.

This was a nice property, staff was most helpful in arranging transportation. Was supposed to have breakfast included but this did not happen, morning check out took the glow off our stay.

Not recommend this hotel. We are international travelers visiting Rome. This hotel is not a good choice. Pros 1) the staff is friendly and helpful. The lady at the front desk gave us useful tips of how to navigate around. 2) The room and building look nice and beautiful. 3)The shower head is cool. Cons 1) The location is not good. We went to the Colosseum, Palatine, Vatican Museum, St Peter’s. The hotel is not within walking distance to any of them. It is not easy to get a taxi and some taxi drivers charges twice for the same trip. 2) check in time is not convenient. Our flight was delayed and we arrived at 8:00, passed the 7:30 check in time. Our original flight was 2;00pm. I had to pay 50 Euro for the late check in. The price increases to 100 after 10. 3) breakfast time is too late. Most of my tour starts at 9:00 and the time to walk to the taxi station and morning traffic makes us have to leave at 8:00. But the breakfast does not start until 8;00. 4) short of staff. On the last day, we had to check out early and leave our luggage in the hotel. The front desk is supposed to arrive at 8 but nobody showed up at 8. We had to keep waiting. Finally the breakfast staff helped us store the luggage but she was still serving the guests for coffee. It was a chaos and we felt guilty we interrupted other guest’s breakfast. 5) there is no hot breakfast. Just cold stuff. No fruit either. 6) the bathroom smells bad, there is no lock in the bathroom. Overall, service is low, location is

NOT A HOTEL

Out flight was late and they did nothing to accommodate our late check in. We had to get another place for that 1 night. The next morning we waited from 845 to 1115 am for someone to show up. Once we finally got into our room it was very nice. It is a B&B not hotel. Would not stay here again.

Unfortunately due to one employee (Emily) made our stay very unpleasant and uncomfortable . Her demeanor was so rude unprofessional and spiteful for no just cause. Please note that all other employees were great, helpful and went over and above the call of duty. A person of this nature should not be working or dealing with guests. We were 4 couple each celebrating 40 + years of marriage and can say that each one of us was totally disgusted with her actions and ruined our stay at via Veneto Suites. We would not return or recommend to place to anyone if she is still there. She does no justice to this place at all.

This was a wonderful place to stay for a couple of nights. The staff were professional and friendly, and very welcoming. The property is safe and secure. The breakfast was good. Like most hotels in Rome the room was small but perfectly adequate for sleeping. The bathroom was large and beautiful. The hotel is in a great location, close to the U.S. Embassy and the Borgia Gallery. The only issue we had was our room (#25) was located near a very busy avenue that was heavily traveled late into the night. I think most of the rooms are away the noise but if you are a light sleeper, ask for a quiet room.

Katarina and ALL staff very helpful! We loved the breakfast and cappuccino! Only difficulty was it was difficult to find as on Via Corso. I would recommend letting guests know nearby landmarks so easier to find. (We would tell taxi near LIH hotel. )

I stayed at Via Veneto Suites in 2019. It was the perfect guest house for my needs. By now in 2024, the property is showing its wear and tear a bit. But I would still recommend staying here if you are not keen on having hotel-style amenities.
