The rooms were very tired looking and the beds appeared to be so old as there was no cushioning which meant sleeping on them were difficult. The air-conditioning didn’t work which made the rooms very hot. Asked for a late checkout of 4 hours which we were happy to pay and were told that wasn’t possible so ended up paying 260000 won for another night. Good location close to train station but would recommend going alittle further.

Overall we had a very good stay. The room we got was spacious and the beds were good size and comfortable. We did not have any issues at all. Liked the complimentary free daily water bottles. The downstairs beer restaurant was a nice way to end a long day walking.

Restaurant and bar on site is very positive. It is clean. Breakfast hour starts at 7:30 a.m. is late for travelers. Hotel counter service closed from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. is not nice. There is only one option on the breakfast menu. AC unit only uses Korean language for its function buttons. It is not very international tourust friendly. Mattres quality is not too good.

Hotel Manu is conveniently located. It's near the subway station, Namdaemun market and plenty of dining options. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the neighborhood felt very safe.

Location was very helpful, being a short walk from Seoul station - although the list of places to go to eat in the evenings in the vicinity was a bit limited. Staff were welcoming, room was small but comfortable and facilities were generally good. Biggest annoyance was a shortage of plug sockets, and the few that were there being in awkward places - if you were on the wrong side of the bed, you were out of luck. Bar/restaurant downstairs is good value - be warned, if you're ordering the fried chicken, the portions are MASSIVE. One portion is more than enough for two people, no matter how hungry you might think you are...

Good value hotel and very close to Seoul central station. Many of the tourist attractions are nearby. If you want to travel around the city then the metro is nearby and is very easy to use.

I stayed here 2 times, the hotel is clean and spacious. No frills, you get exactly what you need when staying as a visitor. The shower room is closed off instead of one entire wet room which I appreciated. There is plenty of floor space to spread luggage and go through my belongings. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The hotel is a short walk away from Seoul station to get to almost anywhere you need to go. There is housekeeping everyday and they give new amenities while tidying up the room. I think this is a great option for tourists.

Comfortable, Convenient, and Cozy
Hotel MANU is in a very convenient location, providing easy access from Seoul station via the above ground walkway, serving as a great gateway to the rest of the city. The room was cozy and clean. Offering exactly what I needed for the time of my short day. Sometimes the reception can get overloaded due to its small size, so if you come at a busy time of the day, be prepared to wait a little while. Otherwise, everything was wonderful, and the value of the stay was worthwhile.

The hotel itself is cute. The rooms are nice. 20 min walk to Myeongdong which is great. Close to stations as well. Staff is not nice. They advertise airport shuttles but the front desk seem unwilling to help and always say “I don’t know” about airport or shuttle information. We did luggage storage at checkout and the lady helping us appeared unhappy about it. Maybe it’s just her facial expression? Either way, it wasn’t a pleasant experience. We saw dried blood in one of the blankets on our first night and we asked for a new one. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any blankets they could provide. It was disgusting and inconvenient. They are many other hotels nearby that seem much better than Hotel Manu.

Hotel location is very good. Easy to walk to Myeongdong shopping street and Namdaemun Market. Right next to the Seoul train station. The room was an okay size. The welcoming when we arrived wasn’t too friendly (felt like we annoyed the reception desk by just arriving…?) The hotel was nice enough, location was great, but no amenities really otherwise and reception felt more like a hostel than a hotel …

Everything was good. Great spot for getting around, many transportation options in walkable distance. Friendly staff. I got to watch NFL football live on TV in room. Namdaemun market less than 5 mins walk away. A larger refrigerator would have been nice. Shower water pressure very strong. It was a good stay for 8 days.
