South West Rocks is situated only a short drive off the Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. South West Rocks is a beautiful seaside holiday village that is home to the best beaches and scenic views on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.

The crystal clear waters of Trial Bay or Horseshoe Bay, are ideal swimming for the family with small children. For the more experienced surfers the beaches to visit include Smoky Cape Beach, The Gap and Little Bay.
If you are feeling energetic you can hire catamarans, windsurfers, surf skis, stand-up paddle boards, pushbikes, diving equipment, small fishing boats or hire a fishing charter to go deep sea fishing.

If you would like to just relax, you can lay on one of our beautiful beaches or you can fish the banks of the Macleay River or any of our pristine beaches, as South West Rocks is renowned as one of the best fishing spots on the east coast.
The historic Trial Bay Gaol, Smoky Cape Lighthouse, and the walking trails through the Arakoon State Recreation Park are just a few of the natural attractions on offer. Explore the Rocky headlands, unspoiled beaches or just sit back and enjoy spectacular scenery around you.

Cam get a bit noisy above the restaurants. Could be cleaner. Didnt come with wifi unless asked which in these days internet should be included.

Cleanliness and furniture could be improved.
Excellent location near the beach, park and restaurants, however the washing machine did not work (the agent was aware of this and offered a laundry service as compensation), one queen bed was old and sagging and the couch was broken and uncomfortable to sit on. We found cockroaches in the dishwasher and the fridge had a strong smell of fish which tainted food. The plants in the balcony garden were all dead. Only one key was provided for the property. Our 4WD did not fit in the garage. Very disappointing as we have stayed in other units in this complex which were much cleaner and with better furniture.

This property is in need of renovations and a thorough clean. I had to clean the doors and outside table, bench tops and switches, which in pandemic times should have been thoroughly sanitised, especially after the school holidays. Bathrooms both in need of updating and the unhygienic, very small spa bath removed. There was hair in the bath. Ensuite exhaust fan doesn't work, taps need replacing and lighting added to the discomfort of the unit.

Great position, great view, handy for all restaurants etc and the beach!! Didn't like the stairs - we are both in our 70's and they were a bit of a prblem.
