Rooms were nice and big... Heaters worked good. Microwave in room 120 was really loud when we used it. Took a bath and the faucet in tub was hard to figure out as Everytime I turned to max heat it was ice cold... After 2 freezing cold attempts and 1 scorching hot attempt I finally figured out the faucet.. straight to "H" is Hell's Gate Hot, anything else is mildly cold lukewarm.. but other than that great motel at a great price.

The room was spacious, the pool was salt water instead of chlorine witch was easy on the eye's. The breakfast was delicious with several different options. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They even had a little store in the lobby where you could purchase snacks and beverages

I am so impressed with the Shilo Inn. We have been staying in $100 CND motels all the way down from Alberta to Arizona and now back. It’s been a bit of an adventure but expectations weren’t high. This place exceeds all expectations. Pet friendly with a great walking area. Room is spacious with wet bar with cabinets, fridge and microwave, table and chairs. Pull out couch. Large sink and make up table, coffee maker. Real coffee cups and glasses. Pool and an operating hot tub! A hot sit down and served to your table is offered. And everything works and is clean! And the same or cheaper price than where we have been staying.

Room took a while to warm up but once it was a comfortable temperature inside it remained comfortable. It was raining and snowing late one night and the noise from the watter hitting the window sill woke all of up from a deep sleep as it sounded like somebody was trying to break in. The breakfast was lacking in selection of items. The fruit should be rotated out after it is beyond its freshness. Our last morning there the waffle mix had a sour taste as if it was left out from the night before and definitely went bad. Parking was adequate with oversized parking behind the hotel. Not having a swimming pool was a bit of a downer for the family as there was not anything to do for children. No evening cookies available here. Most motels do actually offer them.
