Tranquil farmhouse
Absolutely beautiful, tranquil. The property has been furnished and decorated to a very high standard, nice big bathroom with a bath which was amazing. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The house and property were as lovely as before. The dinner selection was a bit disappointing and a bit pricey for what was offered the last time we stayed. Maybe the girls can work on this. There was a situation with all of our 3 rooms being very cold when we arrived and also during the night. None of us had any control of temperature in the rooms. We had to pay 10 pounds extra just to use the Sauna to get warm while we waited for our dinner time. Over all it is a lovely place to stay with amazing views and a very friendly staff.

NC 500 overnight
Best place we stayed on the North Coast 500. The farm is set separately from the village, beautifully renovated and decorated. Warm welcome and a very comfortable room. Views of the sea and the property. Really could not fault it and we enjoyed the stay.

My son and I fell in love with this property. It is gorgeous, tranquil, historic, and beautifully renovated. The ladies that own it are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and excellent chef's. The food is the best I've had on our 2 week trip! So many pleasant details. The rooms are stunning, the views are absolutely incredible. I am already planning a return trip in my mind.

Absolutely perfect stay!
Lovely stay at the Tarrel Farmhouse! The host was very welcoming and did her best to make our stay the best one. Breakfast was delicious, so was dinner. Room was clean and comfortable and surroundings beautiful. A real gem!!

After a long but beautiful drive from the West Coast we couldn’t have been happier to arrive at the Tarrel Farmhouse. Had planned to head out for dinner but the offer of a cheese platter and wine was too good to ignore. Settled down to watch the sunset, the birds and the views. Breakfast was to die for- the Full Aussie will live long in the memory as we try to copy it. J&J have made a great start to their B&B venture. We plan to return.

Really lovely property, onwers are a young couple who are very friendly. Large bedrooms with lots of great small finishing touches. Accommodated our dog easily and even had treats for him!!
