O2 Hotel at Taipei Main Station near exit Z8
Taipei Main Station underground is huge. Follow signs to exit Z8. The hotel is back around the corner on the right side of 7/11 store (if facing store). There are many hotels in this building so don't worry about signage. Go to the 2nd floor to check in @3pm and to check out @11am. Your room is on the 5th floor. The room is nicely refurbished and clean. Hard firm bed. Spacious bathroom. TV had many channels. Great location. Early arrival or late flight, don't fret, just drop off your luggage at 2nd floor. That's what I did. Great service.

Great place and good location. There are many cheap and good foods around the hotel. But, a guy at reception should be more friendly. When I picked my my luggage after checking out, he didn't say anything, even greeting, thank you, or bye :(

Nice staying for family
The service is excellent. The bathroom door is hard to operate. It seems the rolling wheel is broken - room 510. Would book the same hotel for our next trip.

Neat room near Taipei station
At first, we cannot find the hotel that there is no sign for O2 or Oxygen. You should look for ReChange hotel that is at the 2nd floor. The room is neat but the wall is dirty due the water leak before. Though it is 2 minute from the z8 exit from the Taipei station, it is quite far from the MRT as well as the underground shopping centre. It offered breakfast from a near location. It is nice but not great. Regards of the room price, it is value corresponded.

No windows, look and feel creepy especially when there were 2 nights they opened up all the unoccupied rooms (only 2 rooms occupied anyway) at the state they were left behind by their guests. The only + point was the location which is very convenient for food and transport, and book stores.

A nice place to layover
Been to Taipei many times and must say that O2 is the most convenient location to set off from ie very close to the Taoyan airport fast train terminal, the MRT access underground and the shopping nearby. All in around the main station area and still surprisingly safe and quiet. Room & bathroom very spacious and clean; the housekeeping ladies so friendly. Bed is comfy too but the pillows were horribly soft. That was the only complaint. Staff speaks English well enough to help. Wife and family glad to come back here again. They certainly loved the easy convenience of the 7-11 downstairs, bubble tea and cafes downstairs.
