This has been the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. Everything was wrong, from the front desk attention to the cleanliness and intolerable odor in the room. Stay away from this dreadful place.

Control who comes on the property
I've been coming here for a year or so now. But the last two times. I've been bothered by two individuals from the streets or staying on the property asking to use my mobile phone (even after I said go inside) or asking for cig's. And now people be having yelling mixes outside and banging on doors. I'm not saying this is a constant thing. Just when I've been there. But you want to have peace when you stay anywhere.

My room had a brand new comfortable mattress. But… it’s a grimy place with a sketchy feel. Broken up uneven parking lot, that’s poorly lit. Couple abandoned cars for good measure. It’s a lower cost place that I booked without reading reviews.

Plastic shower curtain needs to be changed, it was moldy with brown or red mildew/mold. There was what looked like blood stain on bed cover. There was no elevator. Mattress was flat, hard and old. The walls and doors of the bathroom had black stains all over that look like hand prints. The people who stay there are nice, but owners are slumlords.

Cheap is not always a good choice.
I gave two stars because the employ Alan always showed concern for our well being, but other than that was scary. The first two rooms that he showed to us had just one part of the door latch. Both looked that there were detach by force. The third room had small cockroaches. That was enough for us to leave. The area is not walking friendly.

There was several people hanging around the property that didn't belong there. Bathtub was grey and moldy. Someone kept trying to get into the room all night. $145 per night is way too much for this property.

Terrible hotel. Filthy and in terrible condition. Amenities listed are not available. People not staying in hotel loitering in parking lot. Constant pot smell and not safe for families. Would never stay there again.

If you don’t mind roaches!
I did not have high expectations for this stay however it was worse than I had anticipated. Room was in very rough shape, beds hard and smelled musty. The cockroach on my luggage was the ultimate! It was small so that means there are more.

Don't waste your time
I lost money on this one.. I checked in and 3 mins later I checked out.This facility shouldn't even carry the name "LaQuinta Inn by Wyndham" the rooms were not even close to the quality of the name. Turn around and run away. Room smelled like mold, I turned on the sink to wash my hands and the water was spitting out of the sink, there was ALOT of air in the water line. Walls covered with several renters dirty hand prints. Too much traffic and commotion going on outside.

Horrible do not book here!
Driving around the property we witnessed questionable activity and lots of loiterers. We gave the place the benefit of the doubt and checked in and went to a room that wasn’t cleaned. The lights didn’t turn on and when we figured out which light worked in the room, (which was the bathroom light) roaches scattered. There was a shoe print on bed one and the other bed wasn’t even made. I went back to the front desk and advised them of what was discovered. The front desk clerk offered another room but I was already turned off by the aesthetics, so I declined. He told me he couldn’t give me a refund to contact the third party I booked through. Ok fine, I went to my car because there were roaches crawling throughout the lobby and one on the entrance door and I didn’t want any of them to get in my things. While on the phone with customer service the same front desk clerk called me and told me he went to the room and didn’t see what I was talking about basically calling me a liar and hung up on me. I don’t recommend this property because the pictures are deceptive and the customer service is really bad.

Amazing place. You’re a fool if you don’t stay here when in Tallahassee. Service - above and beyond. Clear A+ well deserved rating. If I could live there - I would!!! I have stayed in many places and this place puts them to Shame. Shame!! This place is what this industry inspires to one day be. A must to stay at!!

The hotel operator rents rooms to drug dealers and prostitutes. Lots of seedy late night activity. A stressed out druggy caused a scene at the breakfast.
