There is nothing positive that I can say about this property, staff are not hospitable, are not polite and in need for a huge makeover training and development.
Restaurant staff are rude and ignorant and would do anything to NOT please you or even just deliver what they set out to do, for example, I asked for 3 fried eggs as I do not eat anything else, and I was met with hostility and lot of questioning and then when they finally gave me the eggs, I only got two and they were not cooked properly, so I left them behind and went out to a local eatery.
On Tuesday 23rd, the plumbers shut down the water supply for a maintenance procedure, but they did not inform anyone, and when the water was back an hour or so later, and when I turned the shower on, for the first 3 to 5 minutes, the water was brown, very brown, if of it was mixed with mud or something similar.
Not once did they inform anyone, well not me (705).
When I checked in, they said they do not accept a local cheque, as they only accept cash or local debit card or any credit card, so I had not choice but to use my Amex, on the proviso it they just hold an amount, but my statement showed that the whole amount was taken and on Monday 22nd, I gave them cash and they refunded me, but I was told that my refund will come in 10 days time, so clearly I was misled, clearly the policy too grey to understand, so I will not be going back there in July 2024, as I will be booking with another property.
