Arrive early…
Cool little gem of an art deco? hotel hidden in a sketchy part of town. My advice is to arrive early so you can park right outside the back entrance door. Otherwise you’ll end up way across the street in a dark parking lot left to the wolves… Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, comfortable bed, good options for breakfast, good cappuccino machine available any hour of the day. If you’re a fraidy-cat at night, stay somewhere else. Otherwise two thumbs up👍👍

The parking at this place is very limited, i beleive there was parking across the road, but not what i would call secure parking, or at least monitored parking. I was on the 4 th floor and it had a very bad odor, like stale cigarette smoke. Staff at front desk were very pleasant. Overall i would give this place a 5 or 6 out of ten.

The elevator stopped working while were in it. They fixed it quickly but it was very disconcerting. We used the stairs thereafter but it was a bit off putting.

It is located downtown and very close to a lovely park. The property around the hotel is old and a bit rundown, but despite this, it feels safe and this hotel is well located. The whole hotel is pet friendly and that is a big plus for me.

It is in a terrible area of the city and still needs some TLC, some painting etc. The washrooms on the main floor are terrible. I am surprised that Best Western has named it as a signature hotel.

The room was clean and roomy but the toilet paper holder was in a location behind the toilet that was difficult to reach and you smash your elbow easily to retrieve the toilet paper. The breakfast area and choices were good. The front desk staff were quick to get things done but not that overly friendly. They need to smile and not look so serious. The area around the hotel felt unsafe with street people constantly going in and out of the property I would see. I was very uncomfortable. The location is good near the waterfront and downtown. The price was fair during this weekday.
