Even though there isn't any accommodation in Trampas' centre, there are 12 digs within 30 kilometres where you can have a snooze (and perhaps hit the mini bar).

It doesn't take long to get to downtown Trampas from Blue Sky Retreat at San Geronimo Lodge and Sagebrush Inn & Suites (although with beds as comfy as these, you shouldn't be surprised if you end up running a bit behind schedule!)

You may like to have a look at some other places to stay, such as the Hampton Inn Taos or the Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder. The first is located 30 kilometres from the main streets, and the second is 35 kilometres away. If these don't suit, we'd recommend you check out the Homewood Suites by Hilton Santa Fe-North, which is 35 kilometres from the centre.

Attractions and Hotels Near Trampas

If you've been blessed with the wanderlust gene (well duh, you're here right?), then you won't want to miss out on seeing more of the New Mexico region. The area features some stunning mountains and desert landscapes. After staring slack-jawed at nature's masterpieces, visit famous tourist sights like ruins. Fun-loving travellers can also try their hand at snowboarding.

Don't shoot through before you've had a squiz at the Tesuque Peak Trail and the Bond House Museum in Espanola. The Inn at the Delta and Rodeway Inn are just some of the accommodation options here. 75 kilometres to the northeast of Trampas you'll also find Red River, which is home to the WorldMark Red River and Alpine Lodge. While in Red River, set aside some time to visit Red River Ski Area and Old Town.
