Booked a 2 queen bed room. They said it was under construction when we got there. Told us we get an upgrade. Ended up in a room with one queen bed and a murphy bed. Not happy .uncomfortable. Needs updates badly. People were nice .liked the bar and music.

Beautiful, historic property. Room with the fireplace was large with a sitting area and a door to a patio. We did finally have to buy a fire starter log because we didn't have a hatchet to cut the logs into smaller pieces.

While the room didn't quite match the photos online, I appreciated the cleanliness of the linens. The sheets and towels were fresh, which made for a more comfortable stay. However, the room itself did not fully meet expectations based on the pictures provided, as some aspects appeared less polished than advertised.

First of all I did not get the room that we rented on your site. You all ruined our 38Th Wedding Anniversary. The room that they ended giving us the bed quilt had blood stanines on it. The TV would go off and on and the picture was small not the size of the screen. The person working the front desk was not very friendly and rude . The door to go in to the rooms would not even lock so did not feel secure. They need to remodel their rooms. Will not return to your hotel again. And your internet service did not work.

The windows didn’t have a screens, the drapes were broken, and didn’t have cords to open and close the tv had the worst pixelation issues and none of the channels worked clear enough to watch, the room was dirty like no one had cleaned the floors and bed linens didn’t look changed, ac/heater didn’t work. We had three pieces of wood in our room it was freezing so we lit a fire when we asked for more wood they asked if we had wood when we got there we said yes 3 pieces she said so you still want more wood? Yes of course it’s freezing! The next day we are told they charged us for the extra wood like what the heck? We went to the dining area and the waiter was upset that we wanted to eat. Our food came out and it was terrible $3 refills we paid almost $100 for 3 plates and drinks the manager of the restaurant was kind and listened but said it was out of his hands he was the only person we encountered that treated us well. We cleaned the room and gathered the trash and took a video of the room before leaving and when i returned the room key the lady was so rude, rolling her eyes when I expressed my concerns with room and being charged for fire wood with no warning she laughed and said well your leaving so goodbye absolutely the worst experience ever not worth it for the cost of the room at all will never ever return to this hotel ! Do not stay here if you don’t have to

A mixed bag
Overall, it was a pretty good stay. It is a neat, quaint spot. We really enjoyed the in-room fireplace. We did have a major leak in our room that required us to move to another room for the 3rd night. We were overall pleased with the way the hotel handled that. We were disappointed with how easy it was to hear and smell (think dog poop) from the next room. The service at breakfast was great, service/selection in the cantina at night was poor.

We liked the images and description on Expedia. The property did not match. Dirt, hair, trash, food bebirs, many many dead insects; ants, moths, beetles, shower heads in crested with lime scale, curly dark hairs, and make up on the counter, multiple broken out lets and cable connection faceplates holes in the walls. I have pictures! Dog doo tracked on the walkways where suit cases roll. Deteriorating door hardware and lock. Blood spatter on table and towels I have pictures. Broken furniture.i could go on but there will be an illustrated letter to follow.

The ambience is excellent, we enjoyed the room and the staff. However, the rooms are very dated and in severe need of upgrades. For example, the tile around the bathroom sink was crumbling. The tub stopper was unusable, so the option for a bath was non-existent. 1/2 of the outlets in the rooms, including lamps and wall outlets are so old, they won't even hold a plug in and don't work. This is untenable in this day and age when everything we use is in need of charging and plugging in is not possible due to every working outlet filled with lamps, tv, fridge etc. leaving nothing available for your electronics. On a bright note, the food in the restaurant and cantina was good, and the portions were huge. The live music each night was enjoyable and the drinks were on-par! Overall, I'd return to SageBrush Inn, but updating is desperately needed.

To get to our room, we had to step through crab apples & leaves that hadn't been picked up. Door wouldn't open completely unless shoved. Closet door was gone. Door jam on closet was nailed together. NO toilet paper. Wooden stairs & walkway to room in need of replacing. Old carpeting that we didn't want to step on barefoot. We've stayed here a number of times previously, but won't again. Its rundown and disappointing.
