Fantastic location on the Coast Path. Very handy that they have a cafe open till 9pm with a good selection of meals. Nice quiet rooms.
Incredible Location with a well priced restaurant/bar area. Our bathroom had some safety issues (rotten flooring and mouldy ceiling) which staff were aware of but not concerned about which is why the low rating. Also had to ask/grab attention almost everytime we went to the bar/check in desk.
The cafe was excellent, overlooking the beach. The menu was simple, pizzas, burgers, fish and chips but well cooked.
We ate there on the first night of our stay and thought it so enjoyable that it wouldn't be bettered by driving in search of somewhere else on our next nights

Brilliant location right on the coast overlooking the beach.
Midway between Padstow and Newquay as the coast squiggles.
We are walking the SWC path in small chunks. One day we walked to Newquay and caught the bus back to the hostel.
The next we caught the bus from the nearby stop in Constantine bay and walked back.
Both undulating mile walks without steep slogs.
The hostel is in a fantastic location and waking up to the sound of the ocean is something special. Very welcoming staff made the stay even better. Strict adherence to covid rules reassuring. Highly recommended.
Love this place! As hotel prices in Padstow increase this is a great alternative. It is right on the beach and has a great bar/restaurant. The rooms are typical YHA but order the double bunk bed room and its fine. Super cheap for the area and perfect for all locations including Padstow, Wadebridge and St Merryn.
This must be one of the most stunning locations for a youth hostel. Its just a short walk from fantastic beaches and coastal walks. The staff are really welcoming. Good food available from the on site cafe or you can cook your own. The rooms are very up to date and clean. The only minor complaint is its very noisy due to doors that only slam shut and poor insulation between rooms, you can hear everything including people shouting to others to keep it down!
Recently refurbished and a nice little hostel. Fantastic staff who make it a great place with an excellent cafe / redtsursnt. On tbe fownside, it's a bit noisy when it's full from the doors which seem to slam. There's also no soundproofing if you are above the bar area.
Absolutely beautifull location.right on the beach..plenty to eat and drink on site or you could self cater...matt was great and was eager to chat and ensure everyone was happy..cant wait to go back again.
Loved our stay. Had some trouble with wifi, initially. Staff were only too happy to help. Have recommended the location to our son, to visit, who lives in UK.
