Hilton Pool Pass: Valid for stays through June 30, 2025. Maximum 6 persons per pass (children under the age of 5 are not counted towards the 6 person max). Use of the Hilton Waikoloa Pass is valid from 4pm on your arrival date and 11am on your departure date. The pass and instructional letter will be in your vacation rental upon arrival. Free Self-Parking for one vehicle at the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel. Access to all pools, waterslides and hot tubs at the premises of the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel. Includes pool towel service. No blackout dates or restricted use, Fitness Center use from 9am-5pm for $20.00 per day, per person (regular rate is $25.00). Locker rental at the Kona pool for $10.00 per day, per locker. We do not have the ability to add additional people to the pass. Users must be registered guests of ResorticaHawaii.com. There are no exceptions to this policy and if policy is breached, the pass can be revoked. Passes cannot be sold or purchased, they are an inclusion in your stay at participating ResorticHawaii.com vacation rental properties. If pass is lost or damaged, there is a $250.00 replacement fee. Terms and fees are subject to change.

Beach Equipment: All of our vacation rentals include beach towels for the maximum occupancy, four beach chairs, two boogie boards, one beach umbrella and one small portable cooler.
Non-Smoking: All of our vacation rentals are Non Smoking. Many of the gated condo complexes are completely smoke free (including e cigarettes) within the entire gated complex.
Hair Dryer: There are hairdryers in each bathroom.
Baby Equipment: Due to safety/sanitation/liability we do not provide baby equipment. Please refer to our Concierge Service page on for local company that rents, delivers and picks up baby equipment.
No Pets: All of our vacation rentals are pet free.
Parking: Parking for one car in a covered carport stall. Additional car is on a first come, first serve basis in any unmarked/visitor parking spots. Maximum two cars allowed. Oversized or commercial vehicles are not allowed.

Kolea 16B a highly desired 2nd floor unit offers stunning garden and mountain views in the highly desired vacation resort area of the Waikoloa Beach Resort with direct beach access to Anehoomlau Bay and beach.

Kolea is a gated condominium community adjacent to Anaehoomalu Bay in the Waikoloa Beach Resort on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Located nearby the Waikoloa Queens Marketplace, Island Gourmet Market and Kings Shops for great shopping and excellent dining. The Waikoloa Beach Resort Golf Courses run throughout the resort. Anaehoomalu Bay Beach is a short 5 minute walk or a few minutes’ drive from Kolea.

All of our vacation rentals include a basic “start-up supply” of: laundry detergent, garbage bags, kitchen sponge, liquid soap, dishwasher liquid, paper towels, toilet paper, conditioning shampoo, small bar soap, all-purpose cleaner and salt/pepper. Cooking oils, condiments, spices, food storage bags, plastic wrap and aluminum foil are not provided. Once the startup supply runs out, guests can restock at nearby grocery stores.

Great Location and Great Amenities

Property Manager was extremely communicative and accommodating. We were informed in advance that the washer was not working properly. They helped us get our laundry done with little to no inconveniences.Unit itself was beautiful. Cannot beat that patio balcony with the glass doors that tuck away to fully open to the outside. Our stay came with access to the pool for the gated community which in itself was amazing. We also had passes to the Hilton pool. Spent most of our time there.

Great Location but Over Powering Smell

Great layout out of the condo and good location but there is a smell in that condo that is overpowering...almost like people smoked in there and chemicals or ozone units tried to cover it up. Or a musky stale smell. Got home and our clothes smelled horrible.Notified the management company and they were going to look into it. Carpet through out and had some stains. Maybe the smell was from the carpet or HVAC but only way to make it livable was open all windows.

Beautiful condo, very convenient location!

We loved our stay here! We had an issue with the air conditioner, but management was super responsive and did everything in their power to get repairs done. Communication was excellent. Two spacious bedrooms and bathrooms that looked like they were in a spa! We loved the lanai and the barbecue, as well as the spacious kitchen and eating area. What a treat to have passes to the beautiful Hilton Waikoloa! The water slides were a hit with the whole family. Convenient walking location to the King’s and Queen’s shops as well as the beach and pool. Just a perfect location! We hope to return someday!

We booked this Vrbo for 8 days for a spring break trip. The unit was clean and well stocked. We also appreciated all the beach equipment as previous rentals didn't come with anything. We would stay here again.

Family getaway

Our first time to the Big Island. We think Kolea is the perfect place to stay with a beautiful beach for swimming, a lovely pool and hot tub and a relaxed but luxurious vibe. We liked being walking distance to shops and restaurants as well. The unit was as advertised. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make family meals. Beds were really comfortable. The unit is well maintained for a rental property. We would definitely stay again.

Great stay, perfect for our family

We had a very nice stay at this unit. I was worried about previous reviews mentioning questionable cleanliness but that certainly wasn’t the case during our stay. The renting management company assured me that the carpets, etc were thoroughly cleaned and indeed they were. I was really impressed with how soft the carpet was as a matter of fact. Beds were comfortable, unit was spacious, kitchen had everything you need, loved the beach gear and location was great. Happy we picked this place for our stay!

This place is filthy!

The unit is filthy. The owners or property management are not doing their job of which we paid as part of our stay. Carpeting filthy, lani tile sticky in areas. Dining room chairs filthy. Wondered why bathroom smelled, toilet bowl brush had poop and toilet paper stuck to brush and the liquid in the brush holder was disgusting. AC in main bedroom not working well. Probably clogged vents restricting air flow. The ceiling in the living room near the vent is black with dust. Went to Resortica Hawaii office near complex. When I told them I was staying in unit 16b they asked how was everything. I told them it was filthy. Their response “. Oh thank you for that feedback we need to hear those things. I will let our manager know.” No one called or contacted us, zip, nothing. Walls dirty and need painting. This is not just bad housekeeping. This has been going on for some time for the place to look like this. Yet they charge all these fees and you pay top dollar and don’t get what you pay for. My advice don’t rent this unit. I’ll be requesting reimbursement.

Very disappointing. The “Lazy River” was not what one would expect…no tubes or currents. The main kid friendly pool was full of adults spilling their drinks into water. There was very little shade and it was hot! Unless you were prepared to pay $150 for a 2 seated shaded lounger. Never again!

Great location

Great location and amenities. Top notch appliances and cooking utensils. The carpet and floors are really dirty and had to lay towels down to sit on the floor. The dinning room chairs are also really dirty. The place needs a good scrubbing. All that said we had a good time and other units we have stayed at are normally clean.

Very nice, quiet location close to everything in Waikaloa. Our family had a great time snorkeling, exploring the pool at the Hilton and on site, as well as, having some great food at Lava Lava. Great family trip overall.

Wonderful Waikaloa

Lovely setting, great 2br/2bath condo quietly situated at the end of a cul-de-sac. All as advertised, with thoughtful appointments of the necessities for a traveling family. Not convenient to the Hilton hotel/resort facilities - our only quibble. But includes access to a very nice private beach club with small pool, hot tub, kiddy splash pond and fitness room. Perfect for families with older kids who don’t “need” a Disney-esque water park. Rate this highly for a nice blend of comfort and convenience!

Mothers Day Weekend staycation.

4 mamas and some littles over Mothers Day Weekend. Great stay. Property was beautiful and came equipped with everything we needed and beds were super comfy. Hilton Pool Day Pass a +++! And the beach access to A-Bay was so convenient. Water pressure and temperature was a little low. But other than that, the only recommendation would be to supply a map of the property in the unit or on the confirmation email/app (had map of Hilton property but not Kolea). At least i searched and couldnt fine. Had to pull it up on google. No big deal - would just be a nice convenience. Great stay! Thanks so much!

Spacious beautiful condo

We had a great stay at 16B. It was enough room for our family. The condo was spacious and beautifully decorated, comfortable and well stocked. I wish the listing made it a little more clearer that Hilton Resort is a drive away, then to get to any of their pools is another long walk or boat/train ride if you are lucky. So with a little kids it was a lot of driving/walking back and forth and it took awhile. Walking distance to the beach was a huge plus. Overall, this is a great place to stay.

Condo is beautiful and exactly as seen online. Location is perfect - right between the Marriott and the Hilton with closer access to the Marriott. Highly recommend Hawaii Calls pool bar/restaurant at the Marriott!

Love Kolea

This is our 4th stay at Kolea. Only needed 2 bedrooms this trip and this property was perfect. Nice master bedroom and bath. The guest room with 2 queen beds and 2 separate sink/counter areas in the bathroom was perfect for two adult family members. Kitchen, living room and lanai as described and met our needs. Hope to return next year.

Wonderful location, very spacious apartment

The location is amazing - steps from one of our favorite Lava-Lava beaches, stores nearby, access to Hilton’s lagoon (ideal for little kids) and pools, Marriott within a three-minute walk for breakfast. The apartment is very spacious and nice, convenient and well-maintained. A very smooth check-in process and all the instructions very simple to follow. The only cons were the following: old air conditioning system that can’t provide an even temperature throughout the apartment - one of the bedrooms was a lot stuffier and hotter while the other one was cooling off very quickly. The shower holder was loose and the shower wasn’t staying in place. The tea kettle was not electric and in a very bad condition (rusty or dirty) - unusable .
