You'll appreciate the tile flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms, while cozy carpeting provides comfort in the bedrooms. The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, stove, oven, and all the necessary utensils for preparing delicious meals. Great Location and Views, but needs some tweaks

This has a great location, and great views. Rooms are big and spacious. However, the AC was frustrating as it could only be operated by a 6 hour turn-dial (which meant coming back to a hot condo) and was limited to 72 degrees. In addition, the air filter was extremely dirty (making the AC inefficient) and found a couple dead insects between the carpet/baseboards, and the batteries in one of the remotes as dead.Overall happy, but expected more attention to detail for the price.

Location

We have returned to Waikoloa Resort for a few years and the location can’t be beat. This condo is walkable to restaurants, beach, grocery store and any other needs. Great place for a morning walk. It’s all about location location location,

Very nice property

This was our 2nd visit to Waikoloa. The unit was nice and comfortable. Spacious enough for our family of 4. We did miss a better lanai experience. This one seemed to be missing a more constant breeze that we’re used to. Still a nice view of the volcano and golf course. The entire property was quiet and peaceful. We’d stay here again. Thank!

Great place to stay

A heading that refers to golf and shopping doesn’t do this unit justice. It should be entitled something like SPECTACULAR VOLCANO VIEWS AND A SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH. Clear mornings you can see the crest of the Kohala Mountains, and the peaks of Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa and (mostly obstructed) Hualalai! Less than 10 minutes walk in the other direction and you can be swimming in the ocean. The unit is spacious, well furnished, well stocked and just an all around delight. The AC works just fine, especially if you turn it off an hour or so after sunset, open the windows and doors, and let the cool evening breezes do the heavy lifting (we were there in May with almost summer temps). If there were once problems with the master bed or things being in poor condition, those problems have been resolved. Next time on the Kohala Coast this will be the first place we try to book.

The Good: The condo is in a great location in the Waikoloa Beach Resort. We enjoyed easy walking access to shopping, etc. Kitchen was well stocked. Lots of beach items in the closet on the lanai. Very large common spaces. Huge lanai with golf course views. The Bad: The air conditioner is tied to a 6-hour manual turn dial that must be twisted to activate the air conditioner. This led to many nights where my wife or I had to get up once it was uncomfortable and turn the dial to activate the air conditioner. Very annoying and NOT something to be expected. The bed in the master has a very noticeable sag to it and wasn’t comfortable. It badly needs replaced. The master bath and nightstands regularly had tiny ants that would invade anything that was left on them, including cell phones. We couldn’t leave our phones charging in either location without having to clean ants off of them afterwards. The condo is very dated and has deteriorated tiles in the master bath and kitchen. The fans in the living room and master bedroom are difficult to operate and antiquated. The host had to come to the condo and get them working properly. Because of the odd way the air conditioning is started and has to be manually restarted often, the fans were a necessity. For paying Christmas holiday rates, we were disappointed with the overall condition of the condo and expected a better experience. We have stayed in this area 10+ times, but it was our first and last experience at Vista Waikoloa.

The location was perfect for access to beach, restaurants, shops, groceries, Hilton etc. The condo is spacious and comfortable seating. The double lanai is great for outdoor living. Cleaning could have been a little better but adequate. Our only problem was the Master bed. We had to sleep in the twin beds because it was in bad shape. All in all a good rental.

Lovely Location

We stayed here instead of staying at the hotel, where a conference was taking place. So happy to have the extra living space, although we spent almost all of our time on the lanai when at the condo. Great set of renter instructions in a binder near the front door. Was easy to Understand and the information was very helpful. Would stay again if we return to the area. Only comment we would make that is somewhat negative would be the bed in the primary bedroom really needs a new mattress. While it was comfortable enough, it certainly is showing its age.

Waikoloa Piece of Paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our first time to the Big Island and specifically Waikoloa. The Condo was well furnished and is located on a beautiful gold course. We enjoyed having the two lanais and over all the condo met our vacation needs very well.

The apartment is nice but we had problems with the air conditioning not working. Despite telling the company this wasn’t fixed. They did allow late check out as a result of this but we had a couple of very uncomfortable nights. Also the list of jobs before leaving seemed excessive.

Great view!

We loved our view from the lanai and the living area! The kitchen was well equipped, and there were plenty of housekeeping supplies. The entertainment system had plenty of options. The property manager was very responsive to our questions. Only drawback was carpeting which is going to be replaced. We’d definitely book another vacation here.

Beautiful View

I rented this place for my parents who are 78 and 80. There was an elevator, so no issues with getting to their place. They loved the large lanai and my Dad loved watching the golfers in the morning. We had a massive rain storm and one of the lanais was completely sheltered even in the downpour. They really enjoyed the space.

The deck view mountain was good for viewing the recent erruption. The condo is well stocked with everything we needed plus more. All utilities worked well. Only issue fan damper in master bathroom makes noise when windy. Request to fix was answered, but fix not possible. Master bedroom mastress is comfortable but pitches to center , need s replacement. We stayed six weeks and enjoyed condo and complex. We have stayed at Vista Waikoloa many times in past 7 years.

This property is spacious and nicely furnished. It worked for our family. The screen doors need to be fixed so they don’t rattle from the wind at night. Visitors need to be aware that the golf course maintenance wakes up and starts mowing at 7 am every morning too. It was great to have beach chairs/boards/snorkeling equipment. Condiments and Tupperware were very much appreciated.

Comfortable, bright rental near the beach

The unit was clean and had everything needed for an extended stay - well stocked kitchen, laundry, beach supplies and more. When not out exploring, it was nice to be able to relax on the spacious lanai or in the nice, large living room. One note is that the king bed sags quite a bit but this did not take away from my wonderful time at Vista Waikoloa.
