Great place to stay
Stayed here for a short trip to DC in December. The front desk staff make this hotel great! So friendly! Almost like family which sounds crazy. Maybe it's just the Christmas spirit. HA! Anyway, the location is close to the capital and centrally located for other downtown exploring and dining. The price is great. It is not a fancy historic downtown hotel so manage your expectations and you'll be pleased with your choice.

Great downtown choice from DCA
Stayed here as an affordable alternative for an event at the Capitol Hilton about two blocks away. While the room was small (it was one of the smallest) it couldn’t be more convenient, If you take the blue line from DCA to Farragut West it is literally right next to the metro entrance/exit (at least the one st the SW corner of Farragut Squsre). No restaurant but there’s a Le Pain Quotidien across the street where you get a 10% discount - no great sacrifice!
