water was way too hot, & difficult to adjust. shower door was hung wonky, so water rained through the separation, putting lots of water on the bathroom floor. I'm used to 2 sheets on a bed, not just 1. does that duvet get washed every client change? I normally only cover up with a sheet; a heavier cover is too much. overall was a nice place & close to metro, which was one reason we chose it.

The room was cramped and dark. The bathroom was extremely tight, making it uncomfortable. There was very limited furniture making guests have to 'live out of their suitcase' basically. On a positive note, the bar and cafe were extremely nice. All the staff throughout the hotel were extremely pleasant and very helpful.

Visit The Riggs
The Riggs Hotel was located in a very convenient area within walking distance of the Mall, museums, shops and more. They had some bikes we enjoyed borrowing to ride around the area. All was lovely with the exception that the shower was very hot and not easily cooled and the electricity shorted in our room, but was quickly fixed, making it a brief and odd occurrence. Every staff member was very friendly and we were glad to have stayed at this charming hotel.

We enjoyed our stay, this hotel is in the perfect location for being in the heart of the city. If you’re looking to be in the middle of town to walk around and sight see, eat lunch and dinner or stop for drinks somewhere, this is the place to stay. The Riggs Cafe located inside the hotel has fantastic food and cocktails as well. You’re definitely paying for location when you stay here, I don’t feel the room or hotel itself is worth the cost of a nightly stay, the bed is very firm and not comfortable, but again - you’re paying for location. Overall great place to stay.
