Property was close to what we needed. I was a bit disappointed that I’d called to enquire about parking and was told I didn’t need to book, but when I arrived it was full and I had to go and park at the arena about 500 metres away. Distance was fine, but $48 was a bit more than I was expecting to have to pay

Overall, the experience was good and enjoyed my staying in this hotel; However, I was surprised on how expensive parking was per night. I was disappointed about the limited menu options in the local hotel but there were more options around the area. Overall, it was a good place to stay with great location to walk around.

Ibis was in the perfect location to us downtown and close to dining options and ride in the cycle path for our early start the next day. Rooms were big, clean and everything you need for an overnighter.

It was close to the shopping area. On a busy street but not to noisy. Within walking distance to rail station. Convenient to catch the Ferry for Cook Strait crossing.
