Room was great size with perfect layout for 3 adults to share with 2 queen beds in seperate areas. View of harbour from balcony. Easy walk to museums and great restaurants. Use of gym with indoor pool and sauna/spa across the road was an unexpected bonus. Cute cafe 2 doors down, Lolas, served great coffee and food.

The property is split into two buildings, I had a room in the 7/8 block. It was ok, dated with an old bathroom, marks on walls, faded carpet etc but the bed was comfortable and the view was amazing which I appreciated. Also used the gym over the road which was great.

Great place to stay.
Staff are friend, approachable and helpful. To get to public parking it was a short drive around the block to get to the rear of hotel. Then a handy entrance leading into a main foyer, lounge with bar and restaurant off to the side. Beautiful views as well. Our room was very tidy, and inviting with 2 single beds nicely tucked in the open spacious nook. Amenities had a shower over the bath. Shower was oh so gooood! Then a king bed with a balcony over looking the main road and beautiful harbour view. The trees across the road blocked some view but we were happy with what we could see and the hussle and bussle from the main road. Didnt hear too much outside noise from the room. Slept with the door open and the cool breeze airing the room. All the beds were very comfortable. Only minor let down was no menu for the restaurant and timings or any hotel info. I guess everythingis just found onlime. Also stayed to watch the rugby after check out. What a bonus. Highly recommend.

Central, Great Views and Staff
Never fails to disappoint, beautiful views, spacious and clean room, great facilities and reasonable pricing. Staff are always very attentive and helpful. Walkable to dining, Te Papa and the central beach. I will continue to stay for buisness and personal travel. Parking is available but on the higher side. It is very limited so try to book.

Great area right near waterfront. Nice bar/eatery across the road. Easy access 24/7. Do think parking should be included in the price of the stay, or have booking sites state parking is not free. Awesome staff though, very friendly. Super clean rooms. Comfy beds too!!!

Family vacation Excellent location great to wake up to views of Oriental bay. Rooms a bit dated but very clean, comfortable bedding. Clean bathrooms. Rooms quiet, and conducive to good sleep. We did not try the restaurant. If you bring your vehicles there is a charge for parking. Charging facilities for electric vehicles close by. Plenty of food options within walking distance. Friendly staff.

Have stayed before but were disappointed this time. Very few gluten free options for the coelic in our party at the restaurant and bar for dinner or breakfast. The floor we were staying on looked fairly old and tired. It was in need of some renovating. Also not enough carparking. We had to try and find a public space out on the busy road.

The view from our room was stunning, bathroom is clean but old. It was a very busy weekend and the wait for an elevator was long. Also we arrived early and checked-in our room was not ready and they told they’d ring us when it was ready, we never received any calls telling us it was ready.
