This was the first time for our family staying at the Microtel. When we entered there were cookies and chips available for the kids with the name of their sports team on the counter. We stay at alot of hotels between soccer and dance and we have never seen this offer. The Guest Services staff at checkin were super friendly and when we realized our room would allow for a queen blow up the staff came through with extra pillows and blankets to ensure we were comfortable. The room itself was well equipped and very comfortable. I like that they doors had a sweep on the bottom to help prevent hallway noise from coming into the room. The large shower is much preferred over a tub. We were all impressed with the pool and the amount of space it offered the soccer team. The layout was perfect as the hot tub was in another area and this hotel also had a dry sauna(most hotels dont have). What we found surprising was even with all the kids, the pool area still aloud for parents to have normal conversation as in other hotels the echo or sound vibration is so bad you can even hear each other. The breakfast is so important for the kids to fuel up. It offered most of the regular food items, Kids enjoy strawberry/whip cream for the waffles but there were none available which is ok. The lounge and patio in the evening were a great place for the team to gather and hanging spending time connecting off the soccer pitch. It was perfect and I know everyone enjoyed there time at the hotel.

It was great. Very clean and smelling fresh. The breakfast was mostly top notch. I liked the extra special service when the lady came on for her shift in the morning. Beware of huge bump when entering west side of parking lot
