Great location, close to the city center as well as the Jordaan neighborhood. However the check in process was extremely slow (waited 20 min for room key despite showing up after the appropriate check in time). The condition of the room was very ok, clean enough, but not incredibly nice. Other downside is I booked and paid in full thru Expedia but still had to pay a city tax I wasn’t aware of upon check in. So the stay was more costly than advertised.

Asked to shorten stay by one night as terminal family member was being taken off life support, they refused. Room for 2 adults had no closet and no dresser. I returned to the room to find House Services left room door open. In general rooms looked tired. A helpful front of desk sent me to self service coffee only to be challenged by a rude management.

The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast in the restaurant was good. The location was good for getting around the city. The bed was not flat - humped up in the middle with dips on each side. The room was quite dark - needed better lighting options.

The staff was the best part of my stay . I found the hotel itself in rather poor condition . The bathroom was adequate but our room was very dark and extremely small . The location was excellent, close to everything. I wouldn’t book it again
