Appin Ski Resorts

While I was not there to watch TV, as the weather one day was to wet and windy to go walking I tried the TV. Unfortunately the TV in the lounge area and in the bedroom had minds of their own, and while watching BBC News in the lounge area the TV in the Bedroom started to play a completely different programme! Some guide book for the TV would have been useful.

View from the hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Reception and bar looks very nice decorative. We just stay one night but was everything perfect for us. Room was big 308 ( we had a dog too ), bed and mattress very comfortable. Room was nice and warm but heating didn't work, but we had soaking coats so we tell on this on the reception and very kind gentleman bring electric radiator which help for drying the cloths. Reception lady's are friendly too. Hot water in a shower ( just little bit small pressies but ok ). We didn't had breakfast so can't say nothing about food. I was reading reviews before and was worried little bit but now I completely don't understand why people are so fassy!? For us everything Perfect!!!

I mean its not the ritz but it doesn’t claim to be, needed somewhere to rest for one night while working in Oban and it did the trick

Hotel is a little dated but is very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and willing to help you, for what I payed for this little break away, it was a bargain

Our stay here was simply magical. We were here two nights and could have stayed a few more. We ate at the restaurant on sight the first night and food was really good. Room was clean and spacious.

I went with a friend fof her birthday up the west coast of scotland and we decided to extend our stay and chose the Hollytree last minute. But what a fabulous choice! The views were incredible, the room was very spacious and the twin beds felt comfy and cosy! The lesuire facilities were also great - pool and jacuzzi where we met some other tourists. The breakfast was superb and the hosts were ever so polite - Magdalene was ever so nice and told us of nice walks to do round the area. Over all very friendly and amazing place would suit family, friends or just a romantic getaway with a partner🙂
