Booked a suite at this property through Expedia since we were traveling with our 17 year old and needed the extra space. Was told by the front desk upon checking in (after realizing they only gave us a normal room) that I was wrong and I had to contact Expedia directly, even though I showed her the receipt from Expedia that clearly said one king suite with the pullout sofa. She said that there was nothing that she could do and when I asked if I could speak to her manager, she said she was the only one there. So I proceeded to call Expedia and the man I spoke to was incredibly rude, yelling at me and saying there was nothing he could do other than charge me the huge cancellation fee and book me in another hotel in the area that is $675. He hung up on me three times. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he said no, and hung up. My husband and I were about to just leave and when we went back down to the front desk to give her our room keys she said that she was able to make changes to our reservation and was actually able to get us into a suite afterall. Room was fine other than we had no hot water and couldn’t shower or anything and a different woman told us that we had to wait for it to warm up because the hotel was really full and everyone was using the shower at the same time. What!? It was literally the worst experience at a hotel and also dealing with Expedia that I’ve ever had and will never stay at another Marriott and will absolutely never use Expedia again.
