File this under: never judge a book by it's cover. This was a relatively last minute trip and a Maine motel was the most reasonably priced available option for this time of season. Motel didn't get me all excited.... All that changed at check-in. Super friendly gal at the front desk took care of the usual process. Handed me a real key for my room and off we went. Opened the door and was pleasantly surprised. The room was fresh and clean! This place has had a total overhaul from top to bottom. New everything! Bed was comfy and the housekeepers do silly cool things with the toilet tissue and towels. Think cruise ship... Location was perfectly far enough away from the hustle-n-bustle of the village while only a FREE bus ride away from everything. We were genuinely impressed with the overall experience.

My recent stay at the Edenbrook Motel in Bar Harbor, ME, was an absolute delight! This charming motel was the highlight of our fantastic trip to Bar Harbor. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Edenbrook is a true gem. The cleanliness of the motel was unparalleled—hands down the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed in. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and had a cozy, welcoming vibe that made us feel right at home. The attention to detail in housekeeping was impressive and greatly appreciated. The office staff went above and beyond, offering exceptional service and local recommendations that made our trip unforgettable. Their suggestions for restaurants, activities, and hidden spots in Bar Harbor were spot-on, and we loved every place they pointed us to. Their warmth and enthusiasm truly enhanced our experience. The location couldn’t have been better! Edenbrook is perfectly situated, close enough to walk to Bar Harbor’s main attractions or hop on the free, clean Island Explorer shuttle to reach anywhere we wanted to go. The convenience made exploring the area a breeze. We loved every moment at this little gem and can’t recommend the Edenbrook Motel highly enough! If you’re planning a trip to Bar Harbor, this is the place to stay for a clean, comfortable, and perfectly located home base with outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back!

Motel is very good.. The only downside were the people in number 50, who woke us up at 11.30pm and continued to party until 1.45am. Very noisy ,very loud, guitar playing commenced at 1.15am so little sleep. It was not the motels fault just bad behaviour .

Everything was GREAT! We didn’t care for the stairs because we’re in our 70’s and it was a bit much for us. Just a suggestion to add a grab rail in the bath for older folks. We will return everyone was so sweet!

We only stayed here for one night, but would definitely return. The view was amazing and we enjoyed that it was just far enough from town to be quiet, but close enough for a short drive for food and shopping as well as seeing the park.
