We stayed in one of the rooms with the double king bed. This room was huge! We had a balcony that overlooked the water and you could see the bar island “walkway “when the tide was down. We tried to get tickets to see the sunrise at Cadillac Mountain, and on our last morning there I happen to wake up early and went outside and had an absolutely beautiful sunrise right from our hotel! So you do not need to go to Cadillac Mountain, if you stay here at the Wonder View Inn. We had breakfast one morning. It was very good. The staff was friendly. The bathrooms could use a little updating, but other than that I would highly recommend this for your stay! It can be walkable down to the little town of Bar Harbor. But you just have to walk uphill to come home!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided a welcome gift for our dog:). Breakfast was great and the views were beautiful. They have a very cute gift shop as well. Great stay!

Had an amazing experience in this place. Stayed with my family and a Dog for 6 night I had booked a two king bed room and stayed in Room #66 ( ocean view building) it was a corner unit with amazing views of Bar Harbor. Place is very neat and staff is very friendly. Highly recommend this place if yiy are visiting Acadia National Park.

While not the newest room, it was incredibly clean. The staff were polite and efficient. Even when we spilled an entire water bottle on the bed, they quickly came and switched all the bedding for us. The only issue we had was that both my husband and I banged our shins on the foot board of the bed as the corner sticks out about 2 inches from the rest of the bed. This could be an us issue, but be careful on those late night bathroom trips.

We went for hiking, great weather, the room was fantastic, upgrades, clean,no view though. Like the shuttle service, that worked for us especially have a 4 1/2 hour drive to get here. LOL. We liked the restaurant, ate there for breakfast, just wish they had evening hours too! Overall, great place, nice environment and close to everything!

we stayed in unit A2. When I opened the door I was hit with a musty, moldy smell. The room furnishings were just a hodge podge of old pieces. Additionally the abutting room had a dog despite their supposed no pet policy. Needless to say the experience was an assault to the senses. I immediately registered my complaint to the office check in and was advised that they had no other vacancy and therefore no recourse. We gutted it out for our 2 day stay with their vacancy sign prominently displayed the whole trip. Unhappy with these obnoxious untruthful people

Staff is very friendly. Housekeeping does a great job. Only issues were the water would go from warm to cold to very hot without adjusting the temperature. This made showering very difficult especially that I have a baby who I had to keep taking out of the water so he would not get burned. Not sure if this is an issue in every room but our room (28) it was.

Nice place, good location.

The room was clean and had a great view. Didn't spend much time in the room, so cleanliness was a high priority for us. Being part of the [free] bus loop is a great option. Noone should try to park in town unless absolutely necessary. For our future visits, we will definitely stay at Wonder View Inn.
