If you’re thinking of staying here, don’t. Barcelona has better, cheaper hotels with much better service.
Upon checking in, we were told one room would not be ready until 6pm, and my room smelt badly of smoke and was a double bed not the requested twin. I asked reception to change rooms and was told that it was not possible however they could do it the next morning, the manager Danny took note of this as well. This was frustrating but one night of a multi night stay would be tolerable. The next morning, reception said moving rooms would still not be possible, at this time the manager comes over and says they won’t move room and that it’s just unfortunate that the room smells of smoke. That afternoon we went to the pool, to be told they were out of towels and would not be getting any more. The same happened the next day as well. At 7.30 we went to have a drink on the roof, to be told that they were closing early, and to return to the cocktail bar at 8. At 8 the cocktail bar told us they were not ready to open. The location of the hotel is excellent but the service, room and staff are just not at the level that they should be for a hotel of this rating and price point.
