The owner is amazing. She is so friendly. I love the Americana decor and the fact that the owners are really embracing being American. The other folks at the desk werent as friendly. Not rude, but not necessarily friendly. Note that there is not an elevator. There are only two floors, but i saw some people struggling to do the stairs. The rooms were okay. They are in need of repair, just typical older hotel stuff like chipped paint and water stains. I stayed there a few times. In one of the rooms i almost fell on the floor when i sat on the end of the bed and the entire bed tipped forward. In one room the lock on the door and the wall didnt even match up so i couldn't use it for extra security. The breakfast was the same every day but did offer some good options like scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, waffles, and a few other things. But a couple of times the "hot" food was still frozen and needed to be microwaved. Overall it was a good value.

They recently changed this over from another hotel. Looks like they renovated the lobby and that's about it. Room we got was not great. Missing lampshade on the wall lamp, the bathroom was not the cleanest. Just felt dirty. We also felt unsafe there. We ended up leaving and just pushing ourselves to drive the last few hours home.

Checking in the staff was great. It was fast and friendly. We got to our room and at first glance it was decent. Then we noticed a few things. The toliet leaked a bit in the back, the tub looked like it was dirty, but i think part was the finish was coming off. When my daughter was going to bed and turned down the sheets, she found some pieces of hair. The plug for the air-conditioner was in an electrical box laying on the floor. The breakfast that was provided was ok, but not as good as i was hoping. It definitely wasn't my best hotel experience

Check inn was GREAT! Super friendly & helpful lady! Mid stay, different lady was unfriendly; no sound on tv. I called front desk & she replied, "what room?" I gave her my room number & she said, "your room is just perfect. I cannot help you." I fiddled with it a bit & manged to get the sound to work. Called back down & told her as she'd taken the room number & I didnt want to bother anyone incase there had just a language barrier. She was friendly then & told me she was glad its working because she was there alone & couldn't come to try to fix it. Wish she'd just said that instead of "your room is just perfect. Large hotel with lots of potential. Sign said UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. This hotel was just OK. Needs something to make it more welcoming. Would probably stay again if pricing is good.

Terrible experience overall. We got to our room that was suppose to have two queen-size beds and they ended up being two full-size beds which wasn’t a big deal but the hair, pee and other unknown stains on the covers, sheets, mattresses and box springs was more than we could handle.

First room, the television did not work. Had to wait over an hour for someone to come up and assist, only to tell me that it doesn’t work and they will switch my room. Go directly across the hall, television works, but an hour in the AC shut off. I was unable to get it back on and slept in a very hot room. Woke up with about 6 itchy red bumps on my body. Assuming spider bites. No closet door. Charged at extra $50 for a 20 pound dog. Will never stay here again,

When checking in I was told to have a seat and wait when there were 3 employees at the front desk. Then once I got to the room it smelled, the chair leg was broken off, the bedding and pillows were dirty with stains and the white towels were yellow. I asked for the bedding to be changed and it never was so I requested a room change. That went smoothly but the next room still have dingy yellow towels and the shower curtain was yellow at the bottom as well. The hotel would not be bad if they did some upgrades and bought new towels. I ended up going to buy my own.
