The room smelled musty and looked very outdated. All night long i could her the people next door. Walls seemed very thin. No extra pillows asked and never got any. Breakfast was ok however juice machine spout was very dirty and had some mold on it . For the price charged we were very disappointed.

Upon checking in we went to our room and immediately pulled down the blanket to check for clean sheets and both beds were dirty! The staff member that went to verify this never said a word to us, but spoke to housekeeping in the hallway and showed her the filth. We were assigned a new room (see pics). The sheets were clean, but the curtain had a tear, ceiling had something on it, carpet had two huge stains, drip marks on their artwork, something under the desk, etc. I went to front desk and asked for a manager and was told she wasn't in. I contacted Expedia who reached out to management on our behalf. Management refused to refund or discount our room.

The property is fine, but nothing special. Outdated, noisy, small. Kinda in the middle of nowhere. Pricey, but what isn’t anymore! Good for one or two nights so you can enjoy Saugatuck and holland

In the high heat temperatures; the cooling system was challenged to keep the rooms cool. We had to move rooms due to our AC not working.

It was affordable and quiet. The area hotels were super expensive. Breakfast was great for this level hotel. Located close to Dutch Village amusement/learning venue.

Very nice property. Beds were comfy with plenty of pillows and the room was clean. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good with variety and it was nice having coffee and water available in the lobby.

The property was neat and tidy. Staff was very nice. The price is high. Our room was pretty smelly - like sweaty feet. But it was clean. Our AC unit was making a rattling noise which would have kept us awake. I removed the filters and cleaned out all of the accumulated dust on them and they stopped rattling. One of the security doors was not working and guests kept propping the door open. Pool was quite chilly but had towels.

Largest problem was exterior. Roof was in need of fixing &/ or replacing. Front porch was well worn, siding needed cleaning. When it came to food, I’m sure they had no idea of what gluten intolerant meant. The staff did pretty well with issues that came up. I was stumped with my question on why there was a small plastic rap on the sprinkler in the room. I was told that some were new & were not removed when installed. I was nice & removed it when I should have asked why staff didn’t do it.

Hotel definitely needed to be updated. Our toilet was not securely attached to the floor. Entry door by the patio didn't work, once you went out, you had walk all the way around

Dampness and musty smell in room

We requested first floor room as we were traveling with our dog. They did give us room 164 which we were happy with until we entered the room. The floors felt damp. We thought it was just himidity and will go away. Next morning our fabric totes had absorbed the moisture and even our clothes which were outside were damp with whatever was going on with that room. This facility needs to invest in some kind of moisture/humidity control. We were mostly out of the room and only came in to sleep at night so we did not make a big deal about it. But putting this review out there so that future customers know.

Area around hotel is peaceful, lots of trees makes it more enjoyable. Swimming pool was very small and fire pit area needs more attention.
