Nice hotel. Pool and spa facilities were excellent. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was decent (really good mushrooms!). Wi-fi needs to be better, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Feel like value for money was very poor. We stayed here after a friend's wedding nearby. Room is tired, felt dirty, no AC, loud from the corridor.
Paying £130 for a night here we expected alot more.
Breakfast was good the next day and staff were friendly but needs some form of refresh in the room.
I’d stayed at the Lea Marston hotel a few years ago. The place was really clean and up to date. Which was why I booked again. However over the years the lack of care has caused the whole place to drop its standard. The room smelt like mould. The sheets weren’t cleaned properly. The shower was broken. The breakfast buffet was left completely uncovered. The staff weren’t very polite apart from maybe one or two on reception. And for a 2 night stay we only had one towel to share between the 3 of us. All for the overpriced fee of £294. There’s plenty of better options in the area so I’d search elsewhere.
Upgrade to a suite, it is not worth the extra money, room did not look like what it was advertised. Shower and bathroom was nice however the floor was extremely slippery to the point it was dangerous to get into the shower, I have played professional sport so I can only imagine what it’s like for older/less mobile people. Bed was comfy However the room was dirty, draws was broken, the suites extra room was extremely dated and the floor had gum on it. The coffee machine was disgusting. 30 mins after check in staff knocked onto the door to give use water, we raised the issues but nothing was done about it.
Food at the hotel was nice however every chair I sat on was broken.

An ok stay
An ok stay - had to venture out as hotel restaurant wasn’t what he had hoped it would be
Room comfy enough and good location for our stay
My partner and I wanted somewhere local for a two night getaway and picked the Lea Marston Hotel. Overall it was a good stay however just a couple of niggles with the room. Our room had three reading spot lights none of which worked. I felt the walk in shower needed a slip map as I can be unsteady on a wet surface. However on a positive note it had a USB slot in the main desk furniture into which us can slot a memory stick with pre-loaded movies for instance. A very convenient extra. The hotel gives the impression of having two eating places - The Hathaway "pub" and The Brasserie. We found that they were one and the same thing and the menu covering both The Hathaway with the Brasserie being used as an overflow. We did feel the menu offered much choice either and with a steak at £32 we ventured outside to eat on both nights. The room and beds were comfortable, we made use of the pool, sauna and steam room however there are kids swimming lessons between 4pm and 6pm which we caught the tail of so it started off quite busy. I was planning to use the golf course but didn't in the end however what I saw of it looked very good and in lovely condition.
The review of the facilities and hotel was quick and efficient but with a great deal of detail to take in. The receptionist was friendly. The room was clean and tidy with the exception of a stain on the carpet and the decor needed an update. The range of food on the menu was limited unless you like chips with everything. The main restaurant was only open at the weekends and we stayed midweek. The staff were helpful and cheery at all times.

In need of a refresh. The bar area is welcoming but the add on areas need updated. There is a lovely lounge area but not used a lot which is a shame. The restaurant was closed for our entire stay. This meant we had to eat in the bar every night, the menu was very limited.
