I’ll start by saying that the staff was great—very friendly and helpful—and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, our stay took a disappointing turn.
On our first night, we noticed one roach on the wall. My husband and I didn’t want to overreact—it was just one, so we let it go. However, the following night, I found another inside one of the drawers, and then yet another on the floor, which we had to kill. At that point, I called the front desk to report the issue. They responded promptly and offered to move us to another room, which we appreciated.
However, by then the damage was already done. Our kids were scared and couldn’t sleep, worried that something might crawl on them during the night. It was not the peaceful, relaxing experience we had hoped for.
The second room was clean, and thankfully we didn’t see any more roaches. Still, the initial experience was disturbing and unacceptable. To make matters worse, we were also unable to use the pool because it was closed on Saturday morning, which was very disappointing for our family.
Due to these issues, we are requesting a refund. While there were some positives, the overall experience left us uncomfortable, and unfortunately, we will not be returning.
