Extremely dissatisfied stay
Extremely Disappointing Stay - Our experience was severely marred by a series of unfortunate issues that not only disrupted our sleep but also left us feeling let down by the hotel's quality and service. Our previous stay at this hotel had set a high bar with its beautifully upgraded bathrooms and well-appointed rooms. However, this time, the room we were assigned was dated and lacked the charm and comfort we had come to expect. Furthermore, our room was situated next to a loud elevator, which kept us awake throughout the night due to the constant noise. Adding to our distress, there was a dog in a nearby room that barked incessantly, creating a significant disturbance. We were forced to call the front desk at 1 AM to address this issue, which did abate for a while but unfortunately started again later, further disrupting our rest. Upon calling the front desk the following morning to voice our concerns, we were informed that there was not much that could be done since we had prepaid our room and only stayed for a single night. As a goodwill gesture, we were offered a $30 credit towards incidentals. Also, to our dismay, the available room service options were akin to the snacks found in a vending machine.

The hotel rooms were very spacious and nicely designed. The only thing we didn’t like is we registered in the hotel then were told we were in another building across the entrance so we had to lug our luggage across the entrance road to the other building. Other than that, we loved the hotel.

My stay at Battery Wharf Hotel in Boston was disappointing in several ways. To start, the shower head in our room was broken and continuously leaked water. Despite multiple requests to have it repaired, no one showed up to fix it. When we first arrived, we even found an apple in the trash can, suggesting that the room wasn’t fully cleaned. Refrigerators are supposedly available upon request, but unfortunately, there were none left when we asked. The fitness center was outdated and poorly maintained; it seems like no one has stepped foot in there since the hotel opened. None of the treadmills were functional, making it essentially unusable for any workout needs. Additionally, there was no coffee available on-site before 8 a.m., which was frustrating since there’s nowhere nearby to grab a quick cup. Providing a simple drip coffee setup in the lobby for guests would be a small touch that goes a long way in improving the experience. On a positive note, the rooms are spacious, and the location is truly beautiful and romantic. However, aside from the location, I would not recommend staying here due to the lack of attention to essential amenities and maintenance.

The location is great for excursions. There is good access to Boston's sights and landmarks. The hotel is okay, but the rooms have no bedside lighting, no USB ports, and no refrigerator. Beware that while it advertises parking is available, it's actually valet parking at $55 daily. It also advertises that a refrigerator and microwave are available upon request, but neither were available. Overall, if you're looking for a high priced, generic room in a good location, the this is your spot.
