Helpful staff
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was good for my meeting. I chose Found l because the price was more reasonable than other hotels in the area. Not a fancy place, but they do well with what they have.

Solo Adventure
I only stayed for one night and this was my first stay in a hostel. Check in was great and the room was nice. The beds were very creaky and it was unusually loud anytime anyone moved around. Other than that it was very quiet.

The staff was outstanding. Room was clean, and property in an ideal location for walkability. There was substantial noise Fri/Sat night from nearby venues that may bother light sleepers or young children, but that was worth the location and staff.

This was a convenient spot to stay in with very helpful staff. The only down side was we were in a room with a bed that you could enter on only one side; difficult for two older people. After two nights of this, we asked for a room change. They were very helpful with this and the last two nights were much better.

Worst hotel experience of my life
My two-night stay here in September 2024 was one of the single worst hotel experiences of my 40-plus years of travel all over the world. Because the hotel was expensive — $750 a night —I assumed it would be a special place. Instead, it was like a barely glorified hostel. The room was tiny, with zero amenities. The bathroom had thin, gritty towels and disposable plastic cups. The bed was not even full size. The room faced the street, and the window wasn't sound-proofed, so the sounds of traffic, sirens, construction, garbage trucks ruined my sleep. The AC unit made a terrible grinding noise every time it cycled on. The curtain wasn't light-blocking, so there was a bright glow from the street light right outside the window. The hotel has no food service or coffee, nothing but a vending machine. There is no gym, no lounge. When I came back after my first day of meetings, my room had not been made up. Apparently, there is housekeeping every other day — for a $750 a night room. There was a flyer for a local cleaning service stuck in my door, so someone was wandering around the hotel, leaving promotional materials, and the front desk hadn't noticed or stopped them. I tried to get in touch with the hotel or the owners (a private equity company), but no contact info is posted. I found an info@foundhotels.com address online and sent my thoughts, but after two weeks, no response. If my room had been $200 a night, I could maybe, but at $750 a night, I felt like I was being gouged.

The A/C unit made a loud noise frequently throughout the night waking us up multiple times. I could hear it go off in other rooms as well. Definitely not conducive to getting a good night’s sleep.
