All the hotel clerks were very friendly. Our check out today was at 11am and I called the hotel desk and a male desk clerk answered. I requested to have the bell hop come and retrieve our suitcases and to hold them in the lobby as we did not want it placed in our car. The bell hop guy was great and very friendly as he also did our car valet and took our suitcases to our room when we arrived and at our departure today. The desk guy today wasn’t as friendly. Since our suitcases were being held in the lobby, I went to talk to the concierge about a place to eat breakfast/lunch and we ended up next door. It was my oversight not to check out with the desk, but we were coming back as soon as we ate. I got a call from the male clerk while I was eating and he said I was overdue for the checkout time and had to return to the desk to check out. So I left my meal to go back next door to check out. He asked me if there were any additional charges besides the 2 muffins I had purchased on the 1st floor and the parking for 3 days and asked me if he should charge my credit card I had on file and I said yes. He asked if I wanted a receipt or email the receipt and I said to email me. I wish he could have just done this via the phone since I did not sign anything. This guy needs to have better communication skills and be more friendlier. I will plan to come back within a year and plan to stay there again as I really loved it there and so convenient to downtown,Faniel Hall & Quincy Market.
