Everything was good except for the fact that cleaning staff forgot to turn off the clock alarm and so we were awakened way before we wanted to get up at 6 AM! The only other issue was that the toilet seat needed to be held up, and would not stay up on its own. Everything else was fine. And we were happy to discover the Boston public library across the street. It’s a great place to visit.

Nice hotel, room good size, bathroom very old fashioned and needed updating, had a bath whereas a shower cubicle would be easier. Hotel entrance very dark and restaurant/bar closes early, whilst City bar was open until 2am and small not enough space for everyone to sit even in reception area!

Awesome location steps to beautiful main public library and Newbury St and Boylston St shopping and dining. 5 min walk to convention center and Prudential Center, 10 min to the Commons. Short drive to Northeastern and the MFA. Beautiful lobby. Big rooms, nicely decorated. Comfy beds. Two restaurants with good food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Have stayed here a couple of times and will definitely be coming back.
