Very good

The staff was very nice however the room had no curtains, just blinds and light came in the big windows all night. The beds were very soft and sunk in the middle. The hot breakfast was not very good, overly processed eggs and sausages were gross. Ended up just eating a toast and cereal. Would not book again

The motel was easy to find. Close to restaurants & gas stations and The Cabot Trail. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would have liked an information sheet with breakfast times, T.V. operating instruction etc in the room. Otherwise our stay was great.

This was a great little spot to stay after doing the Cabot trail all day. Nothing fancy but met every need we could have needed on this trip. Would definitely stay again.

Not terrible, but not extravagant. In a pinch, it wasn’t horrible.
The hotel is a bit dated, but the rooms are clean, and the service is exceptional. A perfect place to stay before the ferry trip over to Port aux Basques.
Extremely outdated. Water from sink smells of iron and sulfur. Silverfish in the washroom. Paint inside and out needs to be redone as peeling outside and patches on inside. Gap to outside on air conditioner and door.

Clean , could use updating , potential in room to have a kitchenette, no microwave in room!
Beautiful views & fire pit!
Older but fairly well maintained, owner was friendly, and very helpful. Breakfast was unexpectedly quite good. Motel could use upgrading to the 2000's.
We were on the back side of the property rooms. This meant we were above the front rooms and it gave us a great view while the room remained as a higher 'ground level room'. It was clean, well appointed and the staff tried hard to please us.

Not a bed and breakfast! It’s a motel.
The photos you see are not the rooms I saw and stayed in. The room had a smell so I kept the door open for hours, it is not fully updated. It was also the least expensive in the area so I got what I paid for however I wish they would show correct photos.
There is no garden, but they do have fire pits out front.
It is not on the lake, it’s on the main road and looks over the road and homes to the lake.
Breakfast was basic - not what you would expect when they say hot served breakfast as if it’s a competitive reason to stay here.
The staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating. I just didn’t get what I thought I was getting.
