The gravy was so watered down...yuck. Muffins .. stale. Orange had a brown bad spot. Yogurt expired. Bed was comfy. Need attention to edges of room . Garbage, dust and a bug.
We stayed again at Lamplighter, now Days Inn. The bed was much more comfortable than I remember. Perhaps the difference was that this was a king size, but I slept well. I wosh we could have stayed one more night, but something came up and we left a day ahead of time. My only complaint was breakfast offered very little in hot food.

It was decent for a one night stay passing through but old and unkept as far as the outside; the continental breakfast was a joke.
This was one of the worst motels I have ever stayed in. I was there for 3 days not once did they clean the room or resupply necessities. The free breakfast was almost non existant and the one time they had real food eggs and sausage they were cold.
For being an older remodel the room was in overall clean condition. Bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Only complaint was that the shower didnt drain very quickly. Also there isnt a light(or it was burnt out) in the hall under the stairs leading to rooms across from pool.
Older hotel needs work but the owners are postive!
This is a newly purchase hotel, and the owners have alot of work to do. I appreciated the good rate and good nights sleep. I understand the position they are in. May the exceed their work in owning this business!
Reservation representative was very friendly and very helpful. Have stayed at this property several times and will stay here in the future when in town.
Its not what it used to be. I booked a single king and was given 2 full beds instead. I called the office and was told they didnt have any more king rooms available and i was stuck with what i got or i could go else where. we found trash along the beds and it didnt look like the sheets one one bed had been changed in a month.
Room smelled musty. Hotel was old and out of date. Not the cleanest hotel. You could tell there has been little to no upkeep. Bedding and linen’s were cheep and thin. We would not recommend anyone to stay at this property.
Don't be fooled into this place by the previous owner/management reviews and rankings. Took over 30 minutes to check in with our prepaid online booking. The room had so much dust it was hard to breathe. No soap or washcloths were provided in the room and the towels had holes from overuse. The bathroom was disgusting with mold on the tile floor and the bathtub/shower would not drain and left me standing in ankle deep water. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.
I’ll start by saying the service at the front desk was fantastic. The staff was friendly, kind, and efficient. Other than that the stay was horrible. The floors in the room were really dirty. The whole place was covered in dust. Immediately upon intervening the room it smelled like weed and dirt. The smell never went away. It was probably around 85° when we entered the room. We turned the a/c on but it never really cooled off. Everything in the rooms is from 1975. The bedding was raggedy and the towels were tiny and gross. I will absolutely never stay at The Lamplighter again

Place was empty and they put us and the next person I line right next to is and the hotel was empty ? The towels are tiny, there was still trash in our room . The beds are small 2 people can not sleep in bed together
The floor was filthy. Stains in the carpet and crumbs around the bed. The entertainment center and walls were all beat up. It’s not the Lamplighter Inn anymore. The new people don’t keep it up very well. They don’t even know what cream cheese to put on your bagel is. Will never stay there again. It was gross. When it was Lamplighter Inn it was nice.
