This property is well located and central to most amenities. The owners are very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms do require an update at some point, but overall a pleasant stay.

Very basic property. Booked as it had a kitchen and good location. But very dated and absolutely no frills. Essentially a motel or dorm style residence. Given we were out most days just needed a clean place to sleep so was fine but likely wouldnt stay again.

Staff made after hours check-in easy for me. Room was spacious, clean and nicely styled. I felt safe as a solo traveller, which meant a lot. Easy walking distance to local sights. Liked the pool, would have used more if i had more time!

This is my 3rd time to stay at the property as per stated in my previous review. The apartments are very clean, comfortable, convenient, and self-catering of meals in the kitchen with all utensils provided. For this visit, I stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment for 4 nights, and a 1-bedroom for another 4 nights. Will book and stay again at the motel's 2-bedroom apartment for my visit in January 2025 with my family of four. Thank you Cascade Team!

It was a really great place for first time holiday in Cairns being solo. The bed was so comfortable and the room was spacious for me. It was missing the little shampoo, conditioner travel bottles that i like. Overall Im happy to come back again.

Walkable budget complex
This is a nice budget accommodation. If you’re looking for an upscale place you may not be happy here. Negative things: painted cinderblock walls, International Roast brand coffee (the cheapest vile coffee), 2 toilet papers for your entire stay (BYO), 2 garbage bags for your entire stay (BYO), no washer/dryer in unit, no dishwasher, no oven, no shampoo, no conditioner, weekly housekeeping. Positive things: clean, bright, good location (walkable), spacious, helpful staff, Having said that I would definitely consider staying at this accommodation again, keeping in mind that this is a 3.5 star apartment and not a 4.0 or 4.5 star apartment complex. In other words, the charges are less than other places in this area because the facilities are less luxurious. Therefore I would say that the value for money is good.

Great location but sadly in need of some TLC
This hotel was chosen on location, and family previous stays. Sadly there wasn’t much that impressed me. The reception staff was less than friendly, our room was on the 3rd floor, no lift. The ceiling fans worked on 3 and 1. Wasn’t hot enough to use air con, which was to be serviced during our stay. The amount of dust under the bed was incredible, along with a packet of chips and bar of soap. The bathroom was dated and the shower dripped continuously and the shower curtain needed something to hold it from draping us. The dryer kept cutting out/overheating after about 10mins. The good side to our stay was the location, walking distance to the shops and esplanade and the pool was a lovely place.
