This was the second time we spent my wife birthday here and both time no proper upgrades nor bottle of wine that was promised and we asked them many time I know that there was so much chip quality drinks available but a little card or something for someone birthday goes along way and both a professional front desk and management should know that better

Nice property. A little small. Front desk people unhelpful but everyone else is great. They don’t tell you anything when you check in. But you can use their 2 sister properties so be sure do that. This property has the best pool. The Royal has good entertainment and is a little bigger. You can get free drinks and snacks at the other properties. Just can’t use their dining options. There is a bus for $1 right next to hotel that takes you into the party town area. Ask the valet guy for instructions as they are super helpful. Travel guy in the office near the lobby is very helpful also. don’t expect any help from the front desk unless you drag it out of them. Also if you don’t get reservations for the 2 restaurants then just show up and you will probably get in. overall this is a nice place. There are much larger hotels in the area but I’d go here again.

When I first checked in, I was given the wrong room and had to repeatedly go down to reception desk. I paid extra to have ocean front view and they gave me a room with a view of a construction site.

Great resort. Food was good. Beach is beautiful. The only thing we did not like was wall insulation. Very noisy in the mornings. We could hear everything and everyone walking in hallways. But overall, great resort.

It started off bad for us because our room was not clean. The balcony was disgusting and had drinks left over from whoever stayed there before us, the hot tub was dirty, there was self tanner all over it with like 3 inches of water still in the hot tub when we got there. The room smelled like mildew. There were only 2 restaurants to eat at and the buffet and it was nearly impossible to get reservations at those two restaurants and when you did get them the food was not good. The one good thing was the pizza station during the day and the staff was nice. Would not stay here again.

We love this place. They have a designated smoking area. Disappointed this time that the hot tub was being redone, and pool with bar didn’t seem very clean and was freezing. Some of the restaurants we weren’t able to make reservations for. And a lot of times it’s the same food in buffet and restaurants. Need more food choices. But overall we love this place and will be back again.

Dining is good but some people don’t like pork, I saw pork , chicken and beef put a same spot and the spone was mixed up so it was really problem. If they separate it’s is best way for dinner.

This place was refreshing to stay at, plenty of things to do on the property and the staff was awesome shout out Angel and the other great bar tenders. Pools were good and the area of beach that this resort occupies are so nice. Food was good but not entirely my style, although we enjoyed it! Definitely consider this resort if you are coming to relax and really enjoy the beach. Our only real complaint was the rooms took on sound very easily and we could hear pretty much everything that happened in our hallway throughout the night.

I received a free upgrade to an ocean view balcony room. Although, the liquor dispensers were empty in the room it was still nice. The kids wouldn’t satay out of the hot tub. The food was mediocre at best. I ate a lot of toast and French fries with my margaritas.

This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed in Cancun. The staff were rude and not responsive. It took them 2 hours to get to the supervisor to speak with me. Our whole family got food poisoned and they refused to provide any solutions. Not good for children. Very limited places to play. Reservations for restaurants are lies. You can’t book any because they are always full. Save your money and book somewhere else. This place is a disaster.

Theres a new hotel building next to solaris so theres alot of noise. We stayed in the 7th floor and theres holes on the roof(sheetrock) they are doing some sontruction too.
