We’ve been coming to GR for many years. It has certainly lost its flare. The food availability is less than acceptable for allergy guests. The services have gone down hill and the restrictions on guests are ridiculous now. This was our last stay there. They can keep catering to the yellow towels.

Had such a horrible experience two out of the seven restaurants were open, which were booked before we even got there. They only had buffet open. Food was horrible not many options barely any entertainment all the bars. Only one was open outside bar had no employee drinks were horrible no hot water Water was lukewarm at best. There was also a lot of construction, so there was banging all day and night. Brought concerns to the manager Jose he did not care did not offer anything did not apologize. Horrible, horrible horrible do not recommend staying here. All inclusive with no options horrible food, horrible drinks, no compensation, no sympathy. Do yourself a favor and save your money! Totally misleading by the way, you can only order drinks from 11 AM to 11:59pm And they charge a fee for room service.

Staff was great. Our server Angel was great and his Customer Service was amazing and the best I’ve received from any other resort. They only serve 1 type of beer and every restaurant needed a reservation and alcohol was very limited. All inclusive but we ate out more than we ate there and had to go buy beer to keep at the hotel due to basically no options

Great resort for all
We ended up moving to the GR Solaris for the final 3 days of our trip because our last resort was a disaster. It was the right decision. Night and day. The GR Solaris was lovely, well appointed and in great shape. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone.

Half of the reception team had either an attitude or were too busy gossiping instead of help and when you asked a question they seem very annoyed to help. I will say “Naty” was phenomenal. The lady when I was checking out said “you are a VIP” her partner said “he is just an Expedia member” Leonardo has a horrible attitude and is super condescending

However a driver for the hotel(the car he drove had a cracked windshield) he tried to collect MORE money from us after we already paid for the ride. He even threatened to drop me and my kids off on a random street because I refused to pay. Disgusting

Great place to stay at a very low price. Perfect place for budget friendly travel people. You get what you pay for. Food is definitely below average for Cancun and I stayed in Cancun over 20 times in the last 10 years The beach as as good as other hotels Make sure book beach front room only

The room was to small and not to clean I really disappointed for the lobby check in the staff not friendly at all I ask to upgrad the room but his doesn't care no welcome drink they only care about their member everything have limit for the guess (food drink ),they need more improve for the food and drink and the staff .

First and last time going here. It wasn’t the worst resort ever, but was very “meh”. The pools weren’t very big, the dining was super limited, the drinks were low quality, entertainment and music by the pool sucked. Housekeeping took an hour to bring anything to the room, and didn’t clean when we had the sign up asking for it. The kids area was useful, and the shows at nighttime were absolutely fantastic. 4/10 stars from us

Probably AC was down took 2days to get a room change, the new room’s fridge didn’t work took another 2days to get it changed. I asked to speak to manager he seemed bothered not sorry at all. I mentioned I planned this trip for my birthday and put a note on my reservation my stay was supposed to come with a champagne bottle per stay. He said he didn’t know I have to contact Expedia. I did Not get not 1 bottle, this places customers service is trash! Not worth the money, wish I would have spend my birthday at another place. Never going back!
