The staff at Ventus at Marina del Cid is beyond kind. The food is awesome and there is a lot of óptions. The resort is gorgeous and clean. Indira one of the hotel employees took great care of us, she made us stay memorable. Thank you.

The staff was all great but one stood out above all. Abraham was amazing at Ventus Ha ruf bar he made our experience amazing he even remembered us from 2 years ago Also our butlers Alberto and Brauluo were amazing as always checking in to make sure you had everything possible. This resort has been a favourite of ours we will definitely be back soon

Overall great for the cost. Newer property section at Ventus where we stayed. Beautiful grounds, great selection of restaurants and very good food. Not too small and not too large, so very walkable. The sister properties Marina and Ha offered additional pools and restaurants. Only negatives, not the prettiest beach, but there is a very nice beach in town which is walking distance or a $12 taxi ride. Also, pools are on the cold side and seemed like only front pool was heated. Overall, very nice time at a great place and I would recommend.

We recently stayed at this beautiful, well-maintained resort. Our one-bedroom suite was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The service was top-notch, and booking restaurants was a breeze. With plenty of dining options, dinner was definitely the highlight – the Italian and Akat restaurants were our favorites. However, breakfast options were limited, especially for non-pork eaters. Surprisingly, they offered lobster in the food court but no smoked salmon anywhere. The heated pools and ample seating were definite pros. On the downside, daytime entertainment was scarce, and you had to head to the main pool for any activities or music. Our pool area was quiet, with no music or entertainment. Unfortunately, the beach was a major letdown – it wasn't the picturesque turquoise we're used to seeing in Cancun or Playa del Carmen. A few more quirks: WiFi codes were only free for two devices, so we had to purchase additional access for our family of four. And, oddly, there was no dedicated theater for nighttime entertainment – instead, it was held in the garden. This resort has its strengths and weaknesses. With some tweaks, it could truly shine.

Pool water too cold, beach is not how you see it in their pictures, hard to get reservation at their restaurant and if you do, it will be like almost time for the restaurant to close, the food at the Mercado is alright, check in took 30 min to register every single memeber of the family, good hotel but I won’t stay ever again!!

Hard to believe this resort is considered 4 stars. Our main issues were cleanliness, dining, and pools. 1. Cleanliness The room was clean, but the tile floors were stained and cracked. The furniture had several rips and tears. Furniture in nearly every restaurant were also stained or had tears. 2. Dining We had more issues with the dining at this resort than any others we have visited at all-inclusives. We arrived for a 5 night stay, and we were told at check-in we couldn't get a reservation at an ala carte restaurant until day 3. We had to eat at the buffet restaurant almost every evening. Also, the lines at the buffet were outrageous. We waited a minimum of 15-20 minutes to get through the lines each night. 3. Pools Most resorts are good about preventing people from reserving pool chairs with towels. Ventus did not. You had to get to the pool by 6:00am-6:30am to get a decent spot at the infinity pools. Seating was extremely limited. We've stayed at Grand Moon Palace and Royalton Riviera in Cancun, and another all-inclusives in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. This was by far our worst experience. Not terrible overall, just not luxurious as one would expect. I would compare it to the Carnival Cruise line of all-inclusives. You get the experience of an all-inclusive, but it isn't a good one. Save your money and spend a bit more to stay elsewhere. IF you do decide to stay at Ventus because of the price, don't waste money on the "Platinum Luxury" level.
